OH! I know this! So based on the pricing metric I was taught in college (hours worked + cost of materials + 25% for overhead = wholesale price, doubled for full price), assuming that you pay yourself $20 an hour for work, and it cost $100 in materials, the full Moving Castle should be worth around $20,250 It all depends on how much you want to pay yourself hourly, I was taught that a beginner might go for just over minimum wage, but with time and skill that wage should obviously go up. There's obviously a ton of time and skill that goes into this (it's so beautiful), so $20 would probably be the low end of that, I saw someone else suggest $45 per hour
People just don't get the time to put it together, plus the accumulation time, to find and collect everything. The castle is one of a kind and priceless.

I'm at a loss for words trying to describe how wonderful your videos are. They're calming, funny, thoughtful, and inspiring, but specifically inspiring in the way that Ghibli movies are inspiring, where you walk away feeling so awestruck that you just want to change your entire life. Thank you for the incredible work you're doing, I really hope that it's bringing you as much joy as it's brought me
Proud to say that I'm here since the very beginning, and I'm so happy to see that you're finally getting the deserved recognition!!! Sending lots of love from Brasil ❤️🇧🇷
To make the metal interesting, you could do an undercoat of various colours (like using the very last speckle of paint in a paint bottle that you dont have enough of to do much of anything else with) and then paint your base colour watered down overtop of it, and then dry brush. It gives it alot of tonal variation. For a suggestion- I'd love to see a sculpture of something from Princess Mononoke
I remember seeing this in my recommendations, I was then wondering “why the hell did this exist” Ended up watching the movie, I am now glad I did, thanks.

It's an animated movie by Studio Ghibli and it's beautiful, I really recommend it
@@lucienm.8546 Yes it is awesome!
I would love to see something from Nausicaä or Porco Rosso! And also!! Do you know what the final rivet count was on the full moving castle?? I crave the forbidden knowledge!
Suggestion 1: Sosuke's house from Ponyo.
Suggestion 2: The pop pop boat from Ponyo, extra points if it actually works.
I agree!
Really cool build, your attention to movie accurate details soothes my soul from every other construction I've seen that doesn't 😅
Great video! I would LOVE to see you try and make the "Goliath" airship from Laputa. I imagine it would be a huge undertaking, but I'm sure you could do it. Looking forward to what's next anyway!
My heart dropped when I saw those hammers approach Howl's Castle after all the work it took omg
I would reallyyyyy love to see you make mei and satsuki’s house-- from My Neighbour Totoro!! I find their house very calming🥺💗
I'm at a loss for words trying to describe how wonderful your videos are. They're calming, funny, thoughtful, and inspiring, but specifically inspiring in the way that Ghibli movies are inspiring, where you walk away feeling so awestruck that you just want to change your entire life. Thank you for the incredible work you're doing, I really hope that it's bringing you as much joy as it's brought me
Please make the home in Totoro! Including the wooden round bathtub/jacuzzi
そんな細かいところまで!?の積み重ねこそ素晴らしい作品なんだろう
I genuinely would want this more than the finished one, I just think it shows a much more heartwarming set piece
These videos are always so cool! It's always more fun if the creation is something other than another building or house.
I value howls moving castle at priceless due to its charm and unique design
you put so much detail in such a small build, i also love turnip having the cutest smile :]
I remember seeing this in my recommendations, I was then wondering “why the hell did this exist”
Ended up watching the movie, I am now glad I did, thanks.
"Now please enjoy this montage of gluing trash to the ground." I thoroughly enjoy his humor. I like the modeling too.
this is so cool!! imagine you also made howls bedroom, that would be so cool
That would be so cool and somewhat difficult. It would be very enjoyable to watch.
I think someone has made howls room somewhere on youtube.
I'd love to see some of the iconic buildings from Avatar the Last Airbender and Legend of Korra
The sound in your video is very 'even' throughout, your tone is relaxing, and your humor is just humbling. Great video!
Like all of your videos, i love the art, the jokes, just everything about it! Excited to see what's coming next!
i'd love to see something from 'when marnie was here' its my absolute favourite movie!

Loved the John lennon pic in the beginning one of my favorite pics of him
