      Not as good as Coutinho, Salah partnership. That was almost like Ozil to Ronaldo good. Coutinhos eye of the needle passes, chipped passes and through balls perfectly complimented Salahs game which is always running in behind. The reason it hasn't worked out at Barcelona is that Messi and Suarez and even Dembele love the ball to feet rather than space. Coutinho best partnership is with players who make runs beyond defenders rather than seek the ball. If he goes to Arsenal with Aubameyang making those runs, Arsenal will be a great team.

    I like Naby. I think the difference between pre lockdown Naby, and post lockdown Naby, is that he seems to trust his body not to cave in under the strain he has to put it through now better than before.
    For those who are familiar with his injury ridden period before the lockdown, you'll recall that the most common injury he suffered from was 'groin strain or tear'. He was loath to stretch or commit too much to either tackling or shooting during games.
    This post lockdown Naby however is not afraid of either. That goal he scored against Chelsea is a clear indication of his new found confidence in his body to do what he wants it to without repercussions. I don't have stats to back this claim of mine, but this is what I've observed, and long may it continue... As long as he's playing for Liverpool...
    Well done Naby lad...

    • @ComradeOgilvy1984
      @ComradeOgilvy1984 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Keita started the first leg against Barca in CL, but got unlucky on the receiving end of a hooking tackle -- it is one of those things that could have dinged either or both players, but Naby is the one who suffered. Naby was just played too early and too hard for the Guinea national team, and he came back from the summer very much not ready to play hard for the club.
      Clearly Klopp keeps looking to give him opportunities. Just before lockdown didn't he hurt himself in shooting practice during warmup?
      For Keita and some other players, this lockdown has its silver lining. He really needed 8 weeks of rest, and then a chance to slowly work back up to full fitness. I think there is reason to hope he could turn a corner now.

      His passing is not the prob. He thinks forward but firm thinks drop back to collect fab stays behind the ball and hendo side to side. When Wyn was at new castle he was an AM but since be a bench player he lost alot of that attacking prowess. Injuries slowed his adjustment to the league and most of all the players and because practice and actual game time are totally different, it's a situation where you have to learn on the job. So his passing, breaking up play and transitioning to attack is why we bought him. Did you watch the vid and see some of these passes. Only top tier world class players move like this I just would like him to have a nice run injury free

      @@razor_the_poet7028 you need to read disrespectful twat. I was stating not criticizing either egret and my point stays the same. As he learns his players and adjust to the league with a run of games we will see it as I watch every single game as well so dont even get why mention as so many fans do but I watch every detail of games and when you are coming off the bench, injury or seen as the one not trusted you try too hard or crack under the pressure. Hes somewhere in between but as how he was for about 7 games on the trot 3 goals and 3-4 assists I think as well where he took control of games and still one of the few players in the game that always beats the first opponent. So we basically speaking similar points just the reasoning to reach that said point is the discussion.

    A great football team needs players of various qualities. Quite frankly, Naby Keita is a fantastic player. His movements with the ball are eye-catching. He is an asset to LFC. He engenders something different to the team that other midfielders don't possess. When at his best, he helps make LFC an exciting to watch. Barcelona's style of football could be a good fit for Naby Keita. If he stays fit, I will not be so surprised if Barcelona express interest in him (again) in the coming years. Naby might be ideal for the Catalan giants as a replacement for ageing midfield stars such as Ivan Rakitic and Arturo Vidal. Arguably, Naby is the most talented midfielder in current LFC team. He arrived at LFC when the starting 11 players were already established. Naby Keita can be a regular starter in most EPL teams. The lad is incredibly talented. Click the below link about Barcelona's interest in Naby Keita:

      Like i said in ur previous comment,milner,hendo,fabinho,wijnaldum has they same quality,they all bring the same thing,thats why when a team play defensively our midfield cant be creative enough and that is why we rely so much on crosses and the thing that upsets me despite doing so many crosses in the box we actually dont have a forward who can head the ball into goal,maybe we should get crouchy back 🤣🤣

      @@saheenacaunhye8586 Actually Liverpool does not just cross the ball into the box wily nilly and hope someone gets to it. There is purposes in our crosses. And our midfield is creative enough, even against really defensive teams. It's when they pack the bus that we struggle, just like any other team. Athletico did that to us in CL and got a victory. But don't forget that they did the same thing to Barcelona and bayern and also won those games. Its hard to be creative when the other team refuses to come out to play.

    • @ComradeOgilvy1984
      @ComradeOgilvy1984 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@TheTotalHealth "It's when they pack the bus that we struggle, just like any other team."
      It is never going to be easy against a low block that is compact in front of the box, but one possible answer is to have midfielders with the technical skill to dribble forward in traffic and also play a quick passing game. Keita is the only midfielder on the squad who the skillset.
      Against a well organized defense, you have to take a risk and beat one or two defenders to break their shape. Trying to dribble to the box a few times is not a bad risk, because you are losing the ball with 5-6 teammates behind you to defend.
      Keita seems to have a growing understanding with Salah. If he can build that with Firmino, too, they can cause chaos in the opposition defense.

In any event, in my humble opinion, the best midfield trio of Liverpool Football Club (when/if fit and based on talents) are: FABINHO, THIAGO, and NABY KEITA. The dynamic trio complement each other very well. Barring LFC, skipper Henderson (with all due respect) may find it ddifficult to be an "automatic" starter for Manchester City, Chelsea, Tottenham, Many United, or even Arsenal. He will be a role player in the aforementioned teams.

    The CHAMPIONS LEAGUE'S hampions best midfield trios are as follows:
    *Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka & Thomas Muller (Bayern)
    *Hakan Calhanoglu, Marcelo Brozovic & Nicolo Barella (Inter) ...
    *Fabinho, Thiago & Naby Keita (Liverpool) *
    *Kevin De Bruyne, Rodri & Bernardo Silva (Manchester City)
    *Toni Kroos, Casemiro & Luka Modric (Real Madrid).

    Feel bad for him. Have big expectation for him. I am convinced he could reach the level of world class midfielder under klopp guidance if injury didn’t disrupt him. This is his 3rd season for us but always injured. Maybe his body couldn’t take the epl intensity. Start to think he is an injury prone.

    I think Naby is not suit with Liverpool default style. His keep the ball too long, it will lower the tempo. Because Liverpool adopt a direct football style, the midfield just need to make 2 or 3 touches then pass the ball.
    But i agree, Naby offers another dimension for Liverpool thanks for his balance and dribbling skills. He will be useful against team with defense minded.

    Congratulations to whoever made this video; making Keita look good for a full ten minutes is quite a feat of editing. 4 assists in 63 games! For 50M? The guy is total gash and the worst mistake JK had made other than Karius. He's only any good in no-pressure games like the dead rubbers at the end of last season. When the pressure is on you can actually see him go hiding. He doesn't want the ball, and even he gets it he can be pushed off it way too easily. Leipzig must have been laughing all the way to the bank with this deal. Hopefully now we have more options in midfield with Thiago and the emergence of Curtis Jones (who is going to be a star ) we will see less and less of him. The remaining problem is how on earth are we going to sell a player that no team is going to want to buy. I'm afraid we'll have to bite the bullet and be prepared for a hefty loss on Keita.

    If this guy performs well this season and without injury, Liverpool have some chance. but to be honest, I don't see Liverpool repeating what they have done in the last 2 years. top 4 is the best achievement this season!

      Name one club that has done what Liverpool have done the last season...No you can't. Liverpool cannot possibly do what they did last season, but fans would be happy with The league, or the CL...either is fine thank you.

      Niall Colbeck, I surmise the primary reason why LFC midfielders, including Naby Keita, is due to the team's philisophy of using the two full-backs to attack and to furnish the front three, while the midfielders do the difficult tasks of running the park and retaining possession and defending tirelessly. Consequently, LFC midfielders rarely steal the headlines like the front three and the full-backs. If Keita plays for a team like Man City, Chelsea, or Arsenal, he will get more assists and score more goals. Thanks!
