Bro you can become a big TH-camr. I don’t know how you don’t have at least 100,000 subscribers. You’ve got the camera and voice for good job. Wish you success.
I love the idea of NFC but right now it is a niche market and tech. What I mean by this, is that not every phone has NFC built into them. The phones that do have it are the high end phone iPhone and the like. So until every OEM and cell phone provider offers NFC in every smartphone it will stay a novelty niche technology. The same goes for smartwatches and wearables, that technology is still in its infancy and adoption.
@@l0g1cle You have a point there now that Google Lens now incorporates the scanning of QR/barcodes. Before you had to upload a separate app to scan either.
This is very true. I was lucky enough to find a NFC card on amazon for $19.99 and it included an app for easy setup, as well as a QR code to link to your Apple or google wallet. I thought that was a super neat idea.
it would be great if you could do a review on the best printer for nfc business cards im looking and cant find something solid to put my finger on. a lot of choices but nothing that sticks out in a good way.
NFC tools will let you make a tag read only. It cannot be reversed. You can also password protect a card so to change it would require someone to know the password. As long as you know the password, you can change or remove it.
Thanks Vittor, Do you have a solution for printing cards at home using Inkject printers too? I haven't tried printing on stickers and sticking them on the cards, but I believe it's not very professional. Many printing shops only offer the option of purchasing both the card and printing from them at a high price or in very high volumes, which is often unnecessary.
Great video. Thanks. You mentioned two templates for Webflow but when I use the link it takes me to the whole repository of templates and none seem to match for a landing page like you describe. Which ones would work for what you describe? Also, is there a way to create a link so that I can use the card to simply provide a contact for WhatsApp? Thanks.
Great information. So I expirimented based off this video a couple of questions. My iphone 11 read the card with no case but after a few reads it stopped? do NFC cards generally have a poor signal? I bought the PVC ones but do the metal ones serve as a better transmitter? what is the best NFC card with the best signal?
NFC signal can vary depending on the nfc chip being used. There are nfc cards out there that use a cheap NFC chips which would reduce the signal and range. On another note, PVC cards will tend to always have better range and responsiveness than metal cards.
Bro, I need to know something. In our country, chips are not widely available. So, as you said, if I bring a chip and embed it in a PVC card, then laminate the card, is that all I need to do? How does the stored information work? Do I just tap it with my phone and it will provide the necessary information?
Great video and idea! I was thinking of doing the same through Zoho One. My question is if going with the landing page option, is there a way to get your info stored on their phone, like with the digital business card format? I like the idea of the CRM contact and analytics, but then it misses on the business card side. I thought of adding a link to blinq or linq as an option. Is there a better way?
Hey Dan. You did a great job on your video. It was perfect. It looked really good. I do have a couple questions. I'm interested in doing NFC business card, but I want to do a team card. where my technicians can get reviews at the customers homes.. Do you know the best way that you can do that? I don't really want to pay for a ongoing service. I thought there would be something that I could build and then use for no cost. Is that true? If you have a business or a web page, please let me know, and I'll click on it, and then I'll get in contact with you. And maybe we can work something out. Thank you so much for everything. Chris.
Hi there. Great video. Using this app, I am able to write tags no problem. However, while I can create a record for a contact, my phone does not read the card as a contact. Nothing happens. I can see the contact is on the chip, using the app to read it, but am not getting any kind of pop-up nfc message when scanning the card. Any ideas? Did I miss a crucial step? Thank you!
I am going to guess you have an iPhone. Unfortunately the contact card that NFC Tools writes does not read the format. You need to create a .vcf file on the internet and put the URL on the card. My business cards have 2 records, 1 NFC Tools contact record which Android phones can read and process. 2 is a link to a .vcf file on my web site. iPhones will skip the first record and follow the link and add my contact. Android phones will process the NFC Tools contact record and skip the .vcf record. Hope that makes sense and helps.
I just programmed some cards and didn’t have a problem reading or writing in the nfc tools apps. But then trying to use them after they don’t read. Any ideas?
Merci 🙏
Would this work with ovou? I’ve narrowed down my options (Ovou, Linq & Popl). For my studio and art festivals I think it would be nice to have a display to tap. I realize Popl has products but I like Ovou page and the email signature. If I purchased extra cards from Ovou and had them out in the open I know they would eventually disappear.
Hey there! We would love to get you a card for free for an honest review! Our NFC cards are fully customizable, inside and out for only $20 flat (no taxes, fees, and free shipping)! Let us know :)

As for the ones who didn't have NFC, you can always incorporate QR code onto your card design that link to the same landing page as the NFC.

Literally all of the top selling phones have had nfc for a decade or more. They could also just scan the qr. This is a truly ignorant comment
wave seems to be the most professional way to go.
We think so as well. :)

Same here, I'm from Indonesia and looking into it, I think would be a great business, I think there is 2 option ( inkjet printer, and u printer )
Can you also make a Google Review with this card?
Is there a way to connect wave to my own domain?
Where are the light and dark mode templates for the Webflow profile?
How can I prevent (overwriting or format or cloning anything else) my NFC TAG?
NFC tools will let you make a tag read only. It cannot be reversed. You can also password protect a card so to change it would require someone to know the password. As long as you know the password, you can change or remove it.

What is the data privacy policy of the website/app? There is way too much of PII data input by the card user.

I would like to know about electronic business cards to my team.
This should also work with NFC Stickers as well right?
If I would like a solution for a team of people which software will I use?

You need to build your own website and it is easy to convert your website into an application after that
