From Dot, Linq, Blue, Popl, Tappy, OVOU, V1CE, All with different features, their take on how sophisticated a card should be, and then how that look and feel should translate to the custom website you get when tapping on them with your phone, or scanning their QR code.
    From custom landing pages, to built in CRMs to custom carousels and galleries. We’re going through every single card in detail and rating them to help you decide.

    Incredible video man! You have a bright future ahead!
    I bought dot before I realized there were other options.. I believe I will be sticking with it though. I just love the customization with colors & the profile & banner photo! It may not have the biggest bio but I figured if I’m talking to people in public, that isn’t necessarily important & this quick links will direct them to the location, where I can have plenty of info!
    Wish there was a way to get their info easy as well, but I’m happy with the simplicity of it & I can always just grab theirs super quick while we are talking

      @@VittorTech I ended up going for the dot. card. I'm a freelance videographer so I liked the options (and the banner) that the dot card had and the entry-level price point worked for me. If I find in the future I need to get a more advanced card I'll be rewatching your video and picking one of the more expensive options. I also ordered the actual dot device itself (I think they call it dot classic) and my plan is to attach it to the side of my camera rig. That way, when I'm on a shoot and someone approaches me, if I can't put my camera rig down, they can just tap the side of my rig to get my contact info :)

    • @DannyPytell
      @DannyPytell 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@Branden96 No problem! So far I've tried it a few times on shoots and it hasn't successfully worked. Most of the time it won't register on their phones, whether their cases are too thick or they don't have the NFC reader turned on with their phone (I had to turn mine on to get it to work for myself). As a backup I have the card with the QR code on it, so if all else fails they scan code with phone and my site pops up nice and quick. I think if people's phones were able to register it, the dot on the rig would work great but so far I haven't had any success with it working lol

    Thank you for your in-depth review of Smart Business Cards. I must say I was naive in my knowledge of them until maybe 2weeks ago. A business colleague of mine wanted to share his contact information with me, and as the norm I went to type his contact info into my phone. Wish I had seen your video first, but overall happy with it.

    This was really helpful and the best unbiased comparison I've seen. Helped me get down to three choices. Then I ruled out Linq because the card will only allow you to write things in one direction. So I will buy two (OVOU and V1CE) and see which one works best for me. I will say based on trying a previous card not mentioned here that I think I like the web as an interface to edit my profile more than i do an app.

After I responded to that ad I've been seeing a lot of Facebook ads from different companies doing the same thing. I do wish I had it waited so I could weigh out all of my options but I am happy with the Dot card. For one time fee of $20 there's nothing to really complain about I only wish I could have my own branding on the card.

    Great video! I wasn't looking into Linq at all, but your video helped me determine it's the best choice for me. I used your affiliate link, so hopefully you get paid!

    Thank you. This was helpful. I think I'll try Ovou or Linq, but leaning toward Ovue.

    This is one of the best comparison videos I’ve seen in a while. You’re doing a lot better than some of these companies at explaining what the cards do.
    At first glance it seems like an easy call between Ovou and Linq… but Ovou is quite pricey, not customizable and there’s no phone tag. Dot seems like a simple, affordable solution but their website severely lacks info to help make a decision… like I couldn’t find anything on the customization of the profile page.… even though it appears to be the most eye catching. You showed more in this video lol. They also only allow returns for unopened items, so that doesn’t give me any confidence to give it a shot.
    I’m not sure if these cards aren’t trying to do too much, especially when you consider how quickly tech changes… seems like their ought to be an option that doesn’t require you to tether yourself to a branded card or yet another subscription.

      Nice insight, what are you looking to do with one of these companies, What's the point of getting one for you?

      Just got the dot. card... I don't particularly like the UI. It's customizable, but when trying to add a banner, it becomes a headache.
