    • @Raptor-tooth
      @Raptor-tooth 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Its instinctual, not thinking. The baby cuckoo doesn't know exactly what its doing or why, it just acts. Something in its genes tells it to push up against anything touching its back like that, as natural of a reaction as holding your breath when your head goes underwater.
      It just so happens that the action leads to the cuckoo getting more food in the long run and thus having a better chance at surviving and passing on its genes that tell it to do this onto the next generation of little brood parasites.
      Its not intentional evil, its just doing what's in its nature to do.

    😮. We have brown headed cowbird which uses pretty much any other kind of bird present as host. Because of this, there is a variety of scenarios that can play out once the egg is laid in a host nest.

      I'm particularly pissed at cowbirds, some of those in human form that I don't even have words for, organized and ruthless and networking, persistent, entitled. Some words.

    That's just cuckoo! What a bunch of shirkers and thieves! I feel bad for the birds whose nests they lay their eggs in and their young that die. Pretty amazing that this behavior developed through evolution. The world is filled with amazing crazy animal behaviors. Some humans do something similar to this.

    Hi, I received a takedown order for using your excellently made clip in my longer video - I didn't think it would be a problem because i used it in a different genre.
    I refused yt monetisation over a decade ago because I often use others' clips for educational purposes.
    Is there any way I could keep it up by mentioning and linking you in my description?
    I will remove it otherwise.
