As he said, It looks like the issues are truck specific. Not a good fit for a Chevy Avalanche. Looks like it will work great for my Ram. Thx for the video and your objective opinion.
Thanks for the video. I was considering one of those setups. Didn't realize it would be such a problem. Especially the extra work of grinding it down to fit properly. Think I'll pass on getting it.

That's too bad it didn't work out. It looks like it would be a really nice solution to mounting backup lights if you didn't want to drill into your truck
Yeah, I'm sure it will work on some makes/models. I save the bracket for another project

None, with them mounted where we wound up at the end
