Thanks. I like the idea of honing in on specific markers which change with age. I've been using Morgan Levine's PhenoAge for a while as it relies on a simple blood panel plus hsCRP. Each of the 8 markers are weighted with red blood cell distribution width (RDW), mentioned by Aaron, carrying the most weight. Being more rigorous with diet and exercise improves my RDW although I haven't tested fasting or DR. I'll also be checking cystatin-C now. Another marker I favor, based on independent studies of aging, is a DNA damage, with mild caloric restriction being an intervention which appears to work.
Great to see that you have improved your RDW. May I ask you what kind of diet and exercise (kind of exercise and dosage) helped you achieve good results ?
@@abdelilahbenahmed4350 My baseline diet is pescatarian (no animal food except a little wild fish). I walk 5 to 7 miles a day (average 10,000+ plus) but don't stroll. Walking is spread over the day. A fraction of the walking in the morning is fairly fast. Can't run because don't want to open up a meniscus tear from about 6 years ago. Do about 15-20 minutes per day (morning) of light weights (2 to 15 lbs) for some strength and flexibility. Setups and half knee bends included. At least 6 days a week last 11 years. What varies is how disciplined I am with alcohol (red wine) and simple carbs. Over several blood tests I've correlated higher RDW (can't prove its causal) with being a little more lax with diet which doesn't routinely occur. RDW varied from low 12s to mid 13s and has most effect on PhenoAge for me. Not really that bad for my age (69 now). Over last 3 years my Levine Phenoage has stayed in low to mid 50s if that helps. You can probably look up the Levine paper which describes how PhenoAge was developed. You can also search out free downloads of the spreadsheet if you'd like to assess your marker. So, essentially, eat well and exercise and maintain a good weight.
Aaand, age rank is gone, and it looks like the information will be paywalled. I just wish the data was easier acessible. Can do plots & analysis myself.
I always play everything at double speed. And often more than one thing at the same time. Life is too short. But if you want is slower, TH-cam does have a 1/2 speed option (0.5X). Right click twice. The second list of options that pops up has a speed choice, if you are using a PC. If you are using a phone...I don't know.

Great episode. Sheekey brings IT 💯 every time. Big Ups and Respect.
Fascinating! This was a most enlightening presentation.
it looks like the website is no longer available and it's being changed to some type of paid service.
Bryan Johnson's "don't die" is right!
Great talk!
Actually haven’t spoken with Aaron this deep (beyond Agerank) - he has several very interesting takes
Agerank looks like a great and really useful tool!
heyyy love your work , how caan I get in touch to contribute.
Don't we know how the germline maintains itself? Ain't that the Yamanaka factors?
HKDC1 Protein.... do a review soon?
This was an intersecting Sheekey. I think he has some good ideas about organizing information so it might be useful.

Why use windows?
Could you please speak slowly and clearly 🙏🏻 I can’t understand and follow you when you talk so fast:(
You can slow down the video :)
