I have never seen this machine in person. In my country, Brazil, it was very rare to find an original arcade machine, most cases were poorly made replicas.
I saw that this machine, like Konami's X-Men, used two monitors with a mirror system that made the player see a widescreen.
I played this game on the emulator and I really enjoyed it. I'm a fan of those games with a Conan-like atmosphere.

Thanks for your comment Rafael Castilho ! Here in Argentina most arcades were replicas too, but there was also some originals one . If i remember right, i have seen this game in my country in its original cabinet. The same with Ninja Warriors that also works with 2 monitors .

Weird. I'm guessing Golden Axe is inspired by Conan and other low fantasy. But this game's characters are total ripoffs of Conan and Red Sonja. So in a way this is closer than golden axe but came after?
Didn't this game come out before Golden axe.

Bad joke bro. Have you ever seen an old kung fu film called the man with the golden arms. The main villain is a dude who is supposed to be a sword master. All through the film people talk about him not looking like he knows how to hold a sword despite allegedly being a sword master. At the end of the film he explains that he kills dudes with his kicks and slashes them with the sword after they are dead already.
Was wondering why the soundtrack was going off, not till I saw the ending credits I figured out why

Interessante a tela parece ser wide screen 21:9, como ocorre com Darius. Parece ser mais legal que Golden Axe, é bem mais veloz. Nunca vi aqui no BR, nem tinha visto no MAME. Tem muita relíquia escondida por ai.

Such a great game, to bad they never released this on home consoles. There was a ps2 release in japan, but mever outside of japan.
Yes you are right ! This one and golden axe revenge of death adder are titles that should have a port on home consoles.

That was great! I finished this game many times, but never encountered the volcano stage. How do you unlock the secret stages?

I loved the original Rastan, especially the arcade version. Hated Nastar Warrior, or " Nastar", including the arcade version. This one is fantastic!

HI Claudio Adriano ! it´s strange but the programmers opted to put some german speaking in the game maybe to put a foreign or medieval atmosphere.. the ones that are speaking in german are the enemies if im right..

The German voice just keeps saying variations of "I'll destroy you", "there's no escape", and so on, with a few curses thrown in. Most likely it's the enemy
