Think my 2001 TD5 90SW (about which someone asked if it was a Twisted) on its galvanised chassis & very similar suspension to the Twisted is much better value at £15K.
£198K actually if you are in the UK. I would say that was like taking £200k and setting fire to at least half of it in financial terms. Bonkers and not in a good way.
..after the expensive modifications will it still leak..and do you have to drive along with your right arm pressed firmly against the side window due to the lack of room..?
Love these sort of things, but can’t make out how they come up with the prices. Yes they are hand built, but I guess their market is the ‘there’s one born every minute’ clan
People in the comment section don't realise it's not cars that are getting more expensive, it's the British Pound that's collapsing. 5 years ago this would have been a 60k car. Just like 5 years ago a £2.50 can of tomato soup was 75p
I quite like an old Defender (got a 110) but that price is just silly (£200K inc VAT) . They started off with a brand new car so it's not like it's had chassis replacement/corrosion repairs/respray etc etc. Really can't see how that price can be justifed.
How on gods earth does it take five months to complete these upgrades? Close to £200k for what looks like a stock Defender with £20k's max of upgrades.
Having built a similar spec truck myself, I can tell you 5 months is what it takes to do it to the level these guys do. No idea where you could get all the parts for £20k, front seats alone are £4k before they are re-trimmed. The truck is worth £60k-£70k being a final build on delivery miles for collectors. Having a technician at a £50 an hour (main dealer would be £200+ an hour) even at 4 months is £35k. The company themselves do want to earn some money out of it and pay for all the other staff, bills, heat and light a building and pay tax. So when you look at it the price is about right to keep a business going. It’s not a case of building it in your shed at home.
£165k thats mental

160,000+! Puzzled, £115,000 for new 130! £150,000 fully loaded!
It's worse.
£165,000 +VAT so it's actually £198,000!!!
It's a nice car, but is it £200K nice?
Great review 👏
Ludicrous price, but the fit n finish is lovely.

I would find the engine underwhelming for that money, especially when a G Wagen would be better in every way.
The Defender is better looking imo.

Cool ride 😮
Nice to see a 110 Land Rover costing as much as G Wagon... Amazing that people have this amount of money.
Please stop saying 0 to 62, it's 0 to 60.
A lot of cash
Nice one Vicky 😊
Nice one Andy..
The first wheel they panned on was curbed some how with those big AT tyres on¬
7:39 got them on my motorhome.

Not for a 2.3 🤦♂️🤦♂️
Gun box is poor . I had one one like that and it’s hard to open when on a slant or has grit in it . Plus the facia falls off
Please please review Maserati MC20🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Seems they are finding buyers good for them
Wouldn't be my money...
This with a 2Jz..😊
LS3 for me!
200 bags of sand once you've added VAT. And it's not even a V8.

Hate to say it but it's a total waste of money, just stick to the original.
Put me a 300TDI into it🫡
