Takes just getting to know the game and in general learning your opponent as quick as you can in the match. The faster you learn what they like to do the smoother the match will go

8:18 you took too damages from that so why not just hold “Y” to guard instead of spam tapping it? or you setting up a reversal or what?

My question is when you hit Y are tapping it twice or once like is there a rhythm to it?

It’s a rhythm to it, some moves are harder than others to reverse but it’s really reaction time. Hitting y multiple times will result in an early timing and no reverse

It can be sometimes, to me I see it more as like chess. the more you mix it up the easier it’s gonna be (unpredictable) the more you do the same, the harder it will be
