Ya know the whole “matron that actually hates children” stereotype is kinda overdone imo but I like how the VA portrays Miss Beverly here.
I mean yeah it is overdone in media but to be perfectly honest it's just as overdone in reality. I think that's why as a trope it's so popular because it's very relatable. I've personally had alot of experience with people who hate kids but still for whatever reason are in a line of work where they have to deal with them constantly.
I don't think it's overdone really. In my experience there are a LOT of people that work with kids that are exactly like that in real life.
My dad and his brothers grew up in an orphanage and while there were nice people who cared about them, there were some awful people as well. It's a sad fact of life.

If you like this style of game, I'd highly recommend _The Coma: Recut._ It takes place in a Korean high school after dark. A teacher asks you to meet her once class ends, but things quickly become dire. It's the same sort of side scrolling / room searching / monster fleeing game. It's got a haunting atmosphere and is actually pretty fun. I honestly think you'd enjoy it!

While on a camping trip, a family stop at a hunters lodge. Three children---Ryan, Catty, and Drey---have to escape the living nightmare of their dear animal pals---Sammy the Shepherd, Mr.Hopps the Hare, and Orion the Ocelot---coming to life while also trying to keep their sanity and find a way to kill these soulless monstrosities. Only to awaken and find it was a 'coma' after being in a car accident on the way to the hunting lodge---and their stuffed animals sitting at the foot of their hospital beds, looking as innocent as the day they got them. But, when they finally go home, they have to deal with their nightmare all over again. Only this time, its *real.*
The fact that this game is so simplistic yet so scary is astounding.
