30 MINUTES of GREAT Plane Spotting at HOUSTON George Bush Intercontinental Airport [IAH/KIAH]

Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport is the second busiest airport in Texas and also United's largest base in the south of the country! IAH offers fantastic views from around the airport, but by far the most diverse and reliable one for me is the terminal high-rise parking garage. Offering wonderful views from nearly every runway direction that you can think of, it's a safe spot to let all the traffic come to you.
This footage is older footage, filmed many years ago when aircraft like the British Airways 747 was still flying around. Whilst it is older, but yet in my opinion, more interesting footage, I do hope you enjoy!

My grandpa worked at IAH for 45 years. I showed him this and we went straight to the airport.
The A380s are a great example of the excellence in modern aviation. The fact you can fly an aircraft that has 2 levels and can carry all of those people safely is absolutely incredible.
Nice. My first flight to IAH was on a PanAm L1011-500 in 1982. The airport has grown a lot since then. I barely recognised it when I was last there. United as far as the eye could see.

I used to work in the IAH tower and radar room over 35 years ago. It was fun to see the changes around the field and the additional carriers that frequent Intercontinental now. Then, 15R was half the length it is now @10k, and 26R did not exist. Thanks for the memories. Nice vid!

I have to admit watching the 747 is still a beauty, I watched the USA 747 official government plane an the USAF E-4BC-17 following fly over us at Brisbane a few days ago, made my day 😀

This guy uploads videos from 2019, there’s a Volga Depnr A-124 in the background, as well as an AA MD-83 landing which last operated in 2019. Stale
Correct it is older footage. But in my opinion, it’s far less stale then current IAH 😉
