As someone who has never gotten into PVM I am super happy. Ive never had the motivation as when looking at pvme you get 4 items down the list at prices are already past 1b it felt so demotivating knowing it wojld take multiple weeks if grinding to just too max out one style. Easy for people doing 1min aod but for us regular players it felt impossible. Now I have the motivation to grind knowing that some of bis gear is with in arms reach!
The big problem nobody talks about is that most guides cover bosses from an end game stand point or from “minmaxscape” perspective. There’s nobody doing “regular dude who doesn’t have billions in gear showing how to complete a kill” guide. “So all you need for xyz boss is 120 invention BiS perks, max gear and weps, BiS switches and 99+ herb and 97 prayer. Drink pots, pray, attack and swap weps so you can attack more. Boom no food needed sub 2 second kills congrats gg”

I don't mind price differences. This lets skillers and other types of players enjoy the game in different ways and in truth, I think this is a good way to fight the RS3 inflation that we've been dealing with for so long. Skillscape might be a thing again.
Bad title. The necromancy gear is low due to low demand (lack of t95 users) and high supply from everyone going for the log. As more players get level 95 the price will go up. The price of combat supplies is not a result of their content, but a result from lack of skillers in the game. So the price being so high is a very attractive incentive to play for non pvmers. Not that rs was close to dying but necromancy is saving the rs economy. Good video though, i just don’t like the negative title.
Is this really a surprise? A whole new combat stat that has a buyable component. to top that EVERYONE is playing necro atm. People have always sold their stuff for cash to skill when new stuff comes out. The week after release is hardly the time to be worried about the long-term effects of an update. In a couple months it'll stabilize into a new equilibrium as people decide how to work with necro in relation to the other skills. Necromancy was 100% designed to make pvm more accessible. Almost a combat tutorial 2.0. If anything will have lasting effects on prices it'll be that.
I invested in saradomin brew flasks after fresh start worlds in January. I bought 50k for 26kea sat them on the ge for 50k since them. They all sold yesterday. Solid profit 😅✌️
I managed to get a scripture drop from arch glacor two days ago. I listed it for 113mill, this isntantly sold for 302mill (after ge tax i recieved 295mill...) yep that sums it up. Manuscript of wens are also at 340k each per page, up from 100ish k

They did say that depending on how well Necro is received, they’d look into reworking the other 3 combat styles. And I’d say Necro has been very well received. The other 3 combat styles bore me to tears, it would probably kill my newfound interest in PvM if they nerf it.

What this update taught me is that you can really just go and get the gear yourself with sub par gear. Its the first time I really went into PvM, on mobile and Im not good at it and I have T90 necro now all by myself except Ambassador, die that in a random group we were all new to it. I find it way less intimidating now. You dont need to grind a 30m/h money maker just go get it, just like with the necro gear.

I think the best thing about this update is that it will cause massive deflation. All the 99/120/200m rushers basically built the banks of other players. This also probably led to a massive spike in GE transactions and a huge increase in tax removed from the game. If I had to guess, we probably had a spike of 40-50% in gold removed via taxes for the first week.
I don't mind the price drops as much, what i'm scared of is that necro will make everything else obsolete. I would hate to see a game where everyone uses the same style cause its better for less effort. I get that its new and hype right now, but i hope things balance out in the long run

I bought my green mask for 3bil a couple months before the GE was updated to accept larger amounts. It went down to 2bil right after that. Since I plan on keeping the mask on my account forever until I die I didn't mind though, especially since it made other rares drop, and I do have a goal to get a mask set and a Santa. Still, it is super annoying knowing you could have gotten a way better deal, but at the end of the day it's okay and it happens to everyone once in a while.

In regards to the gear from Rasial, Mod Ryan stated they purposefully made the boss fight easier (relative to other bosses that drop t95 gear) and gave him a higher drop rate for the sole purpose of making the gear more accessible.

Can you do a more in depth necromancy ability strategy guide for bossing mostly (which abilities to use orderwise to pump out highest damage) like for example do I want to spam soul sap for 5 stacks with the T95, use thread and volley of souls? What do I do I'm a noob.
I am gonna spend a while longer making sure I am fully up to speed on it all before doing an in depth one. But it is part of my plans! I do believe another creator who is far better at pvm than I will very likely release something sooner than me though! So I would keep an eye on like.. wazzy / the rs guy.

I currently have do Pvm to upgrade my gear to T80 Power and beyond but then I'm like wait why bother, I can just buy the T95 gear which i know will come down in price pretty hard. One because it's an easy boss for regular pvmers and two the drop rate is pretty high.

The option for "Necromancy - Two-handed" in the action bar bindings is likely a result of something called "class inheritance" in the language the game engine is written in. Whether they intend to add 2h necro weapons remains to be seen, but the odds that the menu is showing that option as a hint drop vs. because of how it was coded are slim imo Does seem reasonably likely that the Zemouregal boss is gonna be Vorkath tho 🤷
Jagex has said they currently don't have any plans for a 2h. The bar is probably them just copying the other action bars and not really paying attention
@@thetcgbros6247 class inheritance is very commonly used in Java and results in things like this. iirc trying to throw a bomb potion from out of line of site used to give the "You can't dive through something you can't walk through!" error because the code to target a specific tile was at the time of their release entirely unique to Bladed Dive and the most effective way of implementing throws was to make them an ability extended from Bladed Dive with the effects changed.
The massive prices necro runes went for at first helped me make great strides towards catching up where I was lacking in gear after being away for a few years. The initial burst in progress in gearing my account did a LOT to boost my overall desire to play the game.
It's also the first new combat style in ages so of course it's having a substantial effect on the market, but only very rich/high end players really impact this side of the market in general. Items go down in price because more people have access/want to do PvM on Necro, and supplies go up in price because there's more drops being obtained to sell, and more people doing PvM that need the items to do said PvM. I'm sure it'll level out a little more in a few months, but I'd prefer it didn't. I'd say it's all still far too inaccessible for people who do not play this game a whole lot more than they should. Besides gear the biggest strength you can gain for bossing are pots and such, so that's twice the hurt
hey keep in mind a lot of players been grinding necro out. this means less alchables coming into the game and a huge volume of expensive necroplasm constantly getting taxed. the economy isnt broken, its just a massive amount of deflation of the gold in the game.
It does make a lot of sense for the prices of boss drops to drop, and items to do bossing to rise. Everyone is doing bossing after all. It'll balance out when people notice this price hike and start attemping to make profit by being the one to make the bossing supplies. It'll make some decent profit for a while, and then prices will find a new balance point.
Few months ago, I had the thought of selling my fsoa, because I wasn't using it for anything outside of clue scrolls. What did I do instead? Slap an Aurora dye on it 😂 oh well. I've always wanted the silly thing, so the crash is fine

Wen people say Necromancy is stand-alone does that mean you can ignore defense? Or did it mean like stand-alone as in you don't need a supporting crafting skill?
It treats you as doing damage equivalent to the monster you are fighting. So if a boss is melee, necromancy is considered to do melee damage. Essentially necromancy is neutral dmg.
Never managed to get a billion in 10 years of playing when you talk about items going to 1 bill from 3 bill it still means no thing to the likes of weekend players like me. Not complaining as I made 140 million in the first week of necromancy . Will be a billionaire by Christmas and will plod on my own pace.
It doesnt help that necromancy fucking dwarves everything in comparison, it has everything the other styles has and THEN some, it needs tweaking but i think the damage is done tbh

I hoarded different items for perks since feb for necromancy now am selling some of them for 500% to 2500% up each dont follow the ge price just set them higher until the supply deplete and people will buy it for as much as you want. Now am hoarding items that dropped to sell them when prices normalize.
I was close to 1b gp once then was hacked now I got t 82-85 gear 4 days left on my bond and about 100m cash stack but that's unfortunately going to drop back down for 13 days of play
Releasing Necromancy has also had the added bonus of deleting a ton of GP from the game. Because every person who sold an item on the GE to pay for Necromancy, had the GE tax applied to take out that extra 1%. Then the added crash sucked all the gp originally made from those items out with it. Then the crash in other drops due to its release, again nerfed prices which means additional GP out of the game. The final whopper is everyone buying the Subjugation armor pieces for inflated prices, (again, taxed), just to delete those pieces to make their tier 80/90 armor sets. I would not be surprised if over 500b in gp would be taken out of the RS3 economy with necromancy's release. This will hopefully nerf the inflation we've seen by a lot.

We are taking t95 gear though to be fair in most cases. It is definitely a good first step though!
I think the recent cash changes also contribute to this a lot. Especially for items over the old max cash

Everyone is focused on one style atm. After Everyone is 99/120 people will go back to preferred styles.
Not if necromancy is the best style to use. It has the highest DPS by far and it’s armor and spells make it very defensive if you choose to.

we also have to remember that this is a 120 combat skill. who knows if there will be lvl 100-120 gear sets/weapons

The massive prices necro runes went for at first helped me make great strides towards catching up where I was lacking in gear after being away for a few years. The initial burst in progress in gearing my account did a LOT to boost my overall desire to play the game.
It's also the first new combat style in ages so of course it's having a substantial effect on the market, but only very rich/high end players really impact this side of the market in general. Items go down in price because more people have access/want to do PvM on Necro, and supplies go up in price because there's more drops being obtained to sell, and more people doing PvM that need the items to do said PvM. I'm sure it'll level out a little more in a few months, but I'd prefer it didn't. I'd say it's all still far too inaccessible for people who do not play this game a whole lot more than they should. Besides gear the biggest strength you can gain for bossing are pots and such, so that's twice the hurt

hey keep in mind a lot of players been grinding necro out. this means less alchables coming into the game and a huge volume of expensive necroplasm constantly getting taxed. the economy isnt broken, its just a massive amount of deflation of the gold in the game.

It does make a lot of sense for the prices of boss drops to drop, and items to do bossing to rise. Everyone is doing bossing after all. It'll balance out when people notice this price hike and start attemping to make profit by being the one to make the bossing supplies. It'll make some decent profit for a while, and then prices will find a new balance point.
So the time to be alive for a skiller is now lol

Few months ago, I had the thought of selling my fsoa, because I wasn't using it for anything outside of clue scrolls. What did I do instead? Slap an Aurora dye on it 😂 oh well. I've always wanted the silly thing, so the crash is fine

I find the economy stuff very interesting. I think price ebs and flows, like everything else in life. I had no idea things were so expensive, dealing in billies, so I think the downtrend is good. Wen people say Necromancy is stand-alone does that mean you can ignore defense? Or did it mean like stand-alone as in you don't need a supporting crafting skill?
It treats you as doing damage equivalent to the monster you are fighting. So if a boss is melee, necromancy is considered to do melee damage. Essentially necromancy is neutral dmg.

Never managed to get a billion in 10 years of playing when you talk about items going to 1 bill from 3 bill it still means no thing to the likes of weekend players like me. Not complaining as I made 140 million in the first week of necromancy . Will be a billionaire by Christmas and will plod on my own pace.
It doesnt help that necromancy fucking dwarves everything in comparison, it has everything the other styles has and THEN some, it needs tweaking but i think the damage is done tbh

I hoarded different items for perks since feb for necromancy now am selling some of them for 500% to 2500% up each dont follow the ge price just set them higher until the supply deplete and people will buy it for as much as you want. Now am hoarding items that dropped to sell them when prices normalize.

I was close to 1b gp once then was hacked now I got t 82-85 gear 4 days left on my bond and about 100m cash stack but that's unfortunately going to drop back down for 13 days of play
Releasing Necromancy has also had the added bonus of deleting a ton of GP from the game. Because every person who sold an item on the GE to pay for Necromancy, had the GE tax applied to take out that extra 1%. Then the added crash sucked all the gp originally made from those items out with it. Then the crash in other drops due to its release, again nerfed prices which means additional GP out of the game. The final whopper is everyone buying the Subjugation armor pieces for inflated prices, (again, taxed), just to delete those pieces to make their tier 80/90 armor sets.
I would not be surprised if over 500b in gp would be taken out of the RS3 economy with necromancy's release. This will hopefully nerf the inflation we've seen by a lot.

The MAIN HAND T95 WEAPON has gone UP In price since I made this video. Jagex announced a ''slight buff'' coming to it. So the price went up.
My assumption is it will still come back down after the hype :) (makes my price checking wrong before the video damnit)
