- This is my Nex guide using Necromancy without curses. I tried to keep it as simple as I could. I hope this helps you in getting your kills for the necromancy upgrades or just to learn Nex.

Thank you, this was a great starting place and I got my first kill on my first attempt! I feel confident now that I've got the basics, just need to keep practising because atm I'm panic eating through the whole ice phase. Taking runes for invoke death would make the last bit a little easier.
It'll be more reliable to do when they bring out the rune pouch for necro runes, considering you'll have to give up food, but.
That would help for sure! I hope they come out with a pouch soon.
It already exists, it's called an deathwarden nexus. You forge it by the smithy.

I have question, for me in blood phase then i equp off hand it wont stand just chase me around, any tips? Thanks@@ImFornHub6714
you have to do it before anything hits her. If you equip it right before you kill the minion and phase her then run to the other side it should work. But if your conjures are out they will hit her and she will still come at you. It took me a few tries to get the timing down right.
How do you reduce the revolution bar slots to only 5? I can’t find a way to have less than the standard 8 spots.
Great video and I plan to use it to finally kill Nex without using darts like I did to get the Rebounder.
Please consider lowering the background music, or getting rid of it altogether. I have moderate misophonia and BG music makes it harder to follow along and understand what you're saying.
Thanks!! I have gotten an actual video editing software so I should be able to manage the sounds much better now. And the background music is mainly going to be some old runescape tunes :D

How do you have max adrenaline from the start
If you fully upgrade the infernal puzzle box it prevents your adrenaline from draining outside of combat. The quest line is pretty easy to do and well worth it.

@@ImFornHub6714 I'm using Davinci Resolve, which I highly recommend. Its a lot to learn at first but after doing a few videos its incredibly easy. It is also 100% FREE which we all love of course lol. You can also use MODs which makes editing even easier.
Would you use a def cape over a max cape?
No max cape is all 99s. So it's got all accomplishment cape perks. Use max if you have it
i can't kill this guy with curses and t90 gear due to how nex's blood siphon and the other healing mechanics works. nex seems to switch her mechanics every 3 seconds which makes it hard for me because you have to move away from her and then it takes like 2 seconds for the character to position himself so he can start attacking nex.
it's really difficult not to heal nex.otherwise it's an easy fight.
Blood phase is for sure the most difficult part. It took me a good bit to figure it out. The first time I did it solo a while back was when my duo partner died and I managed to do it. After that it kind of just clicked for me. Took a lot of practice though.
What happens if you die? Do you lose all your stuff?
No you will respawn in deaths office and you can reclaim all your items for a small fee. If the interface closes you can right click him and the reclaim option will be there. If you take a beast of burden I believe the items will drop on the floor in Death's office but I'm not 100% sure on that one.

Ya um she didnt just stand there after i killed umbra she chased me down like a mut chases food. Ya idk how ro get past the siphon phase. Ive tried a good 30 times.
Same for me. Really frustrating.
I cannot get past her blood phase. She just heals more then I deal damage...
Hmmm are you able to get her stuck so you can kill the reavers first?

I’m a PvM noob and can’t even manage it with T90 tank, T90 weapons 😅
So far over the last three day's I have spent over 10 hours trying n to kill Nex. Free deaths made me try again but even free food wouldn't help. I need 5 kills then off to the QBD for more. I cant BOSS and cant get higher Necromancy gear to help get 200 mil xp and be done forever with this skill. Im presently 120 Necromancy. I simply cant understand why Jagex is forcing players like myself to do something they either cant or don't enjoy doing. In 22 years of playing this is the first time I've been seriously thinking of quitting. I feel like I shouldn't have to buy t90 equipment from players that can or enjoy BOSSING to make the trip to 200 mil easier. I will try to stick with it until the Free death thing is over and then decide. I cant understand why DTD are even in the game if someone that cant boss cant use them. At 71 yo I just am not able to do these tasks nevermind the T 90.
Hope you eventually got your kills, I’m trying to work on Nex right now. QBD was so easy even with T70 power armor that it made me overconfident for Nex but she keeps kicking my ass at blood phase.
@@AaronSkone I still can't kill Nex...I can't make or use the T90 items yet I can buy them. But for some reason at lvl 95 Necromancy I can BUY and USE T 95 equipment that those who CAN and possibly ENJOY bossing are selling.
@@williewonka3574 Nex is pretty janky but she isn’t exactly a hard boss.
I’d recommend using a yak and just eating your way through the fight if you’re stuggling that much
@@ducksquidbat8315 I can't kill it with a yak full of rocktail soups and overloads. Yet with lvl 95 Necromancy I can buy (for billions of gp) and use T95 weapons and armor from someone that CAN boss. And Even with those items I can't kill raisehell ,vorkath , Zuk or many other bosses even in normal mode. How enjoyable.
If your goal is 200m and you don't want to boss then just do rituals no?
It seems a bit silly to say guide for beginners without curses and t60 gear, but then have a scripture, 99 hp/prayer, overload with 110+ necromancy...
I'm not saying it's not possible, but you probably shouldn't demo as if players who are actually entering at the level you describe will have a similar experience.
Honestly, overloads generally should be excluded from a beginner guide. Super pots are more applicable
For comparison, your hit chance is 55%. An average player going in with t70 will have around 40%. You're literally doing 37.5% more damage than a beginner at the appropriate level.
I understand what you mean but the scripture wasn't activated so it was a minimal boost in stats. And by not using curses my prayer level didn't really matter except for more prayer points. I kinda figured most people would be in tier 70 gear at least or they could even go for tier 90 tank gear first. Plus at tier 70 you could start to augment gear. I tried to use the minimum possible but I can't lower my necromancy level or hp level.
@@ImFornHub6714 I don't disagree with anything you said. Your nec level you could reduce using gwd1 snow, but that's a huge caveat to keep in mind when you're presenting "this is what it looks like" if you can't replicate similar circumstances.
It's kind of like making a guide where you have all greater abilities in your rotation, but present it as viable for someone with none of them. There are things you can't un-unlock
