I think what Mark purposefully leaves out when talking about the fact that it would be stupid to fire ten Hag when Bayern want him, is that he is literally bayerns 8-10th choice manager . All the other snubbed them. So it’s not really a good example to big up ten Hag, to say that Bayern would want him. It actually more shows how he is not a top top manager, since he is so low in the priority list of Bayern. IMO

As someone who watches the Bundesliga Mark has really underated Bayer Leverkusen's and Xabi Alonso's brilliance, actually Bayern are having a better Season than last season Bayer Leverkusen are just performing at insane Levels and even with Ten Hag i still think Xabi Alonso beats him cause Ten Hag is no Tactical genius.
Ten Hag had a Golden generation at Ajax and he isn't really a guy who can analyze a situation and make changes, he doesn't motivate the players or hype the crowd he just stands there and does nothing and that cost Ajax when they faced Tottenham. What happened in that match has happened countless times at Man UTD, they collapse and completely throw away leads... it's a pattern that will follow him everywhere he goes the same way success follows Pep and Klopp everywhere they go.

I was there when 16 year old Marco Van Basten made his debut in the 1st Ajax team. It's all about bringing them slowly and at the right time
Except for Ole Gunnar, all coaches and players that are sacked or sold moves on to perform really well. Mourinho, Moyes, rangnick, Smalling, Sancho, Ronaldo, Diallo, etc. The problem is clearly within united. However, I will argue that ten Haag has shown that he is not capable of turning Manchester United away from that pattern. He will surely do well in clubs like ajax and Bayern because they are well run, but I think we need something like Mourinho again until this squad has been rebuilt, at which point we can bring a project manager in.
I think we need a change and there´s good names out there. Inzaghi from Inter is my favourite but Thiago Motta and Amorim are interesting names.
But no one ever gives alternatives, according to mark. So they must not be alternatives, somehow.
