I’ve not invested in the new DTM cars yet, but if they are regularly used in the ranked schedule, I’ll definitely give them a try. Used to love the other ones in RR (1992?) and the Touring Classics
Yeah, the Silhouette was my original ‘favourite car’ in sim racing. Love them. I saw they were being used in the ranked schedule today, so thought I’d get a race in quick!
I remember well chasing Ben down in a open lobby Silhouette race at Suzuka which lead me to SCB and many many more happy Sim racing memories.... great to see RRE getting some love
The good old days. I’ve certainly caught the RaceRoom bug again, had lots of fun in it this week. Will be hoping to do another ranked race or two at the weekend 🤞
great drive and deserved win. outstanding video as always. hadn't sim raced for a long while until the raceroom update and now i'm really enjoying racing v the ai which seems to have improved since i last tried it maybe 1-2 years ago. keep those videos coming!
Great! I haven’t tried the AI racing yet, but I have thoroughly enjoyed my RaceRoom return so far… it’s great being able to find a decent-sized grid again. Long may it continue!

Nice one. You never forget your first. 🙂 Never played RR myself. Something just looked off about the bridge at Druids, though. Seemed much closer to the bend than it should be.
Yeah, many of RaceRoom’s track renditions aren’t quite as polished as other sims. The new coat of paint it’s had has certainly helped, though. And I do love the racing, whenever I hop into it. Participation isn’t very high though, so it’s often hard to find a full grid.
Congratulations on your race win Chris! I drove recently some RR races myself, although all in single player mode because my speed in RR is currently way way down. And I still hat the track rotation at the online races of RR.
Yeah, the constant track rotation has its good and bad points. I find it’s easier to get a race win… as I generally only hop in quickly for a one-off race, I’m not at such a disadvantage against people who have been racing the same combo 20-30 times already. But at the same time, I miss the structure of knowing what races are coming up, and being able to plan my racing in ahead of time.
Thank you so much for the coffees, that was very kind of you, and very much appreciated. RaceRoom is great when you find a competitive grid, and the prices are fairly low for the content. Definitely easy to get the free download and something like the Starter Pack for a few quid, which will give you everything you need for the rookie races 👍
