The portion of the field this study is conducted in is not tiled, creating tight clay soils, creating excellent soil conditions to truly put the different closing wheel combinations to the test. In 2017, Beck’s PFR team in Ohio is testing a control (2 rubber closing wheels) against 4 different closing wheel combinations including Schaffert Manufacturing Zipper and Mohawk Closing Wheels, the Copperhead Ag Furrow Cruisers and the Yetter Poly Spike closing wheels.

Hello twohappychildrenfarm I see you commenting a lot and also following you, always fun to see what happening down south I am 1:00 hour north of vermont. I run one Martin spike wheel and one copper head ag closing wheel to keep the depth works great for me
With the soil fluffy on top would you set the depth from the soil beside of the centre?
at the start of the video, the twister wheel on the left is backward
