    I bought my first Harley from Seminole! Even after I moved back home to Arizona and traded my Sportster for a Street Glide, they call me once in a while to see how everything is going and offer me really good deals on a rental if I'm ever in town. Can confirm, Seminole is one of the best dealerships I have ever done business with. Great video, Block!

    The softail deluxe is still my dream bike. I’ve always loved that classic feel that reminds me of the 50s styling I love so much..

    Block, this is an excellent new "test ride" format. I like getting three experienced rider's opinions on multiple bikes at the same time. This was a great idea & hopefully, the path forward with test ride videos. It was nice seeing the Sport Glide stripped down. I agree, similar in looks to the Low Rider, except no analog tach. 2020's tomorrow !! I believe Matt & John both plan to livestream.

      Jeremy Belko How is the lean angle on the Sport Glide? My bike is basically just like the Breakout (250 rear 21” front) I love it but I’ve been catching myself eyeing the SG for longer trips.

      JT Southernfried great. The bike, even when loaded up with a 30# sissy bar bag on passenger seat, it wants to be flicked.

      Ross Malagarie I have a Yamaha Stryker. I’ve just had the itch for another bike lately and it’s gonna be breakout or sport glide. As mine is pretty much just like the breakout cvo prostreet already I’m interested in other’s feedback on comparing the ride between the two.. my local dealer doesn’t have one I could test ride

    I ride a Sport Glide and it's unbelievable. 900 miles on an over night trip, completely stock and she was a joy to ride. I had a Victory Jackpot before the Sport Glide. It had a 250 mm rear tire and a 21" skinny tire on the front. It looked great and went in a straight line no problem. Making it turn and doing low speed maneuvers were very difficult. It was tiring to ride. I'm sure the Breakout would be the same.

    I like the Deluxe the best. I think it looks the best, but I hate cleaning chrome so I wanted one blacked out. Ended up getting a Heritage with the 114. It has the windshield, bags, and passenger pillion already too. Plus I got one with 1500 miles and it had an exhaust already and I got it for less money than I could have got the Deluxe.

  • @Delzona
    @Delzona 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Block, for what you need from your next bike, the Sport Glide would be your best option. Unless you’re ready to commit to a full time bagger the Sport Glide gives you the best of both worlds. However, I will say that once you start riding with bags you find them so convenient that you wonder why you didn’t have them before. I ride a 14 SGS and a 15 Sportster 72 so I can speak from both sides of tracks. My bikes are my only form of transportation so depending on what I need to do will decide which bike I ride. I hope this helps you.

    Great content and video as always block. I’ve got the 2018 Fat Boy 114, that I’ve taken to stage 1. It took me about 2 test rides to actually get the feel for how to corner with and it actually is not as bad. Granted the first time on it I was like this thing she ain’t like no turn bro. But that actually became much easier the next time out. I’ve had some pretty gusty side on wind during some of my rides but the heavy ness of the bike does not let the wind blow you sideways through pushing on the solid wheels. Love my fatty.

    Blockhead likes the breakout you can tell. If that's the bike u like just get it. It's a sharp bike, similar to fxdr just more comfortable at expense of some handling. I know that breakout would be comfortable on highway though it basically just sits up by itself with that wide rear tire.

    Hey Blockhead, great video! As well as your coverage of the entire Softail line for 2019. I have my eye on the Softail Deluxe, as well as the Softail Standard, new for 2020. I do have a question. When did H-D eliminate the heel toe shifter on bikes with floor boards? I must be behind the times. I’ve ridden big twins, with the heel toe shifter and absolutely loved it! • @Delzona
      @Delzona 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would highly suggest that you test ride a few bikes before deciding. Being that you’re so tall you will find that some models will make you feel cramped up. Harley does offer Tallboy seats for most of their bikes which helps taller riders stretch out. I’m 6’1” and I have a Tallboy seat on my Street Glide and I had one on my Fatboy before I sold it. You’ll also probably have to change out your handlebars to fit the bike better to you. I put 12” apes on Street Glide and I’m planning on putting some on my Sportster 72. Makes for a much more comfortable ride.

      The Low Rider S is a bolt upright riding position, moreso than even a Road King, so Block has plenty of experience with that.

    I know you censored Eric, but I’m almost certain I know what he said. Haha

    BLOCKHEAD - love the channel man... any suggestions below are merely from the viewer perspective.
    Group ride & review is great... but, it was really hard to know what bike was being commented on!?!? Please have all contributors mention more frequently "On this _(model)_ -or- On the _(model)_ "
    The Sport Glide has had my attention for quite some time. That's the first I've seen it "naked" and it looks phenomenal. Just wondering why ya'll took it out without the fairing? I've got to believe that completely changes the ride experience
