    I just became familiar with Buffalo Trace last year out here in California and I think it is a wonderful product. It is my go to bourbon now.

    I can smell this video! LOL. I visited the BT distillery last year, and I fell in love with that sweet cooked distillet smell in the air.

      It is a unique smell. Between the fermenting mash and aging barrels its a wonderful smell.

      So if whiskey demand continues to grow at 8% per year in 10 years they will need twice as much production to equal today's supply (relative to today's demand). So it will still be very, very hard to find :(.

      @@rondaojstrsek7626 I'm hoping demand wanes dramatically as it did in the 70s and 80s or like the whole cigar craze died off.

    Finding the regular Buffalo Trace is a tricky task so hopefully quality doesn't suffer because that is a definitely solid bourbon and I look forward to being able to pick it up again

    • @DistilleryTrail
      @DistilleryTrail  ปีที่แล้ว

      For sure. Everything is a duplicate of the original distillation setup so the difference between the two columns should be minimal.

      It is in every grocery store and every liquor store here in Arizona. Case after case and rows of it always on shelves. It is as plentiful as all other standard Bourbons. In the twelve years I have been drinking it it has never gone anywhere or been difficult to locate. It stays at its 22-24$ price point even after all these years.

    It's honestly hard to recommend any Buffalo Trace product, despite the amazing quality, if they are simply not even available to purchase in most liquor stores. And I'm not paying double or triple MSRP online to some reseller.

    • @jasonczfan8658
      @jasonczfan8658 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I feel the same. I’ve been fortunate to be at the right place at the right time on a few occasions. I’ve gotten Blanton’s, EH Taylor and some Weller at MSRP a couple of times. Normal Buffalo Trace is always available here in California and Eagle Rare shows up enough to keep it at MSRP

    • @JoeFromSJersey
      @JoeFromSJersey ปีที่แล้ว +1

      double and triple if you're lucky. The only things I can find for double MSRP or less are regulat BT, the kosher ones and occasionally a Blantons. Literally everything else around me isn't available for less than 300 bucks

  • @anibalalmodovar6372
    @anibalalmodovar6372 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Maybe I will see more Buffalo Trace in the northeast, most liquor stores in the northeast double and triple the price on your products.
    If we don't get more Buffalo Trace we have other bourbons that are also good but many prefer Buffalo Trace.
