I feel very fortunate to have had a tour with Freddie! Fortunately, the weather sucked that day, so I had a private tour! Freddie knows EVERYTHING about Buffalo Trace!❤️
While looking at this great documentary, I couldn't help me to serve me a BLANTON'S Gold Edition, a sublime version for France, bottled at 51,5 % abv (103 US Proof) and coming from Warehouse H, Rick 55 (dumped in 2012), Cheers to all of you Kentucky guys, Bourbon fans & Buffalo Trace fans all over the world and especially to Freddie Johnson !
Sipping from a store pick bottle of Eagle Rare while I watch this well done film! The first bourbon I ever nosed was Buffalo Trace. It was quite a moment...the scent of something from Deep America!
Essentially a Scotch drinker ... for a change I always go to Buffalo Trace. I've tried some other bourbons but go back to Buff/Trace. So there's always one in my bar. (from Australia)
Wow. Except for a few bottles of Pappy, absolutely NO mention of the BT partnership with the Van Winkle family. I guess that, arguably, the most significant name in bourbon history doesn't even warrant a mention.
I've had the great pleasure of having Freddie as a tour guide twice, and having a long conversation with him another time. He's a true gentleman. Too bad you're an asshole.
Well whatever's going on lately they need to get their taste buds checked because there's been some big disappointments in 2024 and 2023 as far as I'm concerned maybe the barrels who knows but it seems like they're dumping a little earlier than they should or something?
I work there..11 years now...in the Blanton's dept...cheers!
I hope they are making more. We need more Blantons.

I actually visited this place recently, holy moly is this place freaking cool. Buffalo Trace continues to be my favorite drink of all time.

Hell of a documentary, I just wish for once I could hit gold & find the antique collection at the end of the rainbow!
Same here!
From Portugal I like it and... that's all folks, keep the good work.
Buffalo Trace number 1 for me here in South Carolina 🥃
I’m sipping on some Buffalo Trace as I watch this video. It’s a great sipping and sharing bourbon.

I'm a total Scotch guy. But, I'm going to give this a whirl.
I love the distillery and the bourbons with the exception of…. Buffalo trace itself. The rest of the products are great.
I THINK IS THE BEST WHISKEY IN THE WORLD! WITH A SPLASH OF WATER MMMM GOOD!!
Is that the Freddie that's behind some of the best root beer I've ever had?
Yep
welp, now I want whisky....at 6:30am
It's 5 O'Clock somewhere friend
I just wish I could get my hands on any bottle of Blanton’s. It’s so hard to find here in Houston
I stumbled on my first bottle yesterday at the distillery.
Are we not going to talk about that awesome cut from barrel to Buffalo in the beginning?
Gona go and buy a bottle to try it, never ever had it, but i have had Blontons.
excellent piece here
Great job!)
The music’s great
My favorite bourbon
Sipping on some 7-year-old French oak tequila as I watch this video😂
Compeveda??
My favorite tequila of all time
Amen!
Is that Brandon Keener narrating?
I get the hint that a black man was key in their developement
Eddie Meadows look into the history of Jack Daniels and who taught him how to make whiskey.
I now have a powerful thirst
Bourbon > Scotch

MGP showed everyone it doesn't have to be a big distillery with a fancy name
Hate to tell you, but MGP is as large or larger than BT.
Buffalo Trace needs to offer dental insurance to its employees
TH-cam needs to offer piece of shit filtering so I don’t have to read worthless comments like yours.

Good bourbons, but there are equal flavors for a better price….

But they're not true Southerners. No true Southerner would call it the Civil War.
True. The War of Southern Stupidity.
KY was in the Union during the civil war.
