xo v3 with hmx blue topaz (typing sounds)

finally got around to recording this one!

mount: o-ring top mount
foams, other mods: neoprene plate foam, polyfil + pe case foam
filmed on fuji x-t3 with 7artisans 35mm f1.2. audio has a slight noise reduction applied but is otherwise unedited.

hmx still goated. i think i prefer the xinhais but these are good. some of them did have some lube pooling in the bottom though which was a quick fix but still really annoying.
the xo v3 is a fairly typical korean top mount tkl with a somewhat unique aesthetic. i love this board visually but the stock sound profile isn't quite to my preference, hence the case and plate foam (which helps a lot). my previous build of this board had pcb pe foam as well but i honestly prefer not to have that. you can get these for like $90 these days on mechmarket which i'd say is actually really cheap for the quality of this board, which is excellent.
