I know, right? It's one of those things a WORLD needs to feel right. (At least, if you've lived in temperate areas your whole life--if you live in the tropics, maybe not.) Back in Sims ONE the main thing I ever wanted was to see the kids get off the schoolbus and throw snowballs at each other, or jump in puddles! Or leaves! Seasons/weather are just one of the absolute must-haves.

i think this is another reason why they shouldn't do the sims 5 cause like some of us spent too much on this game just for them to make a whole new game. they should just improve the game with updates and add ons

I think EA honestly rushed on ts4 cause so many simmers been rushing them to add more content so they been constantly pushing out more stuff packs and expansions to improve the game more but EA did say if sims 4 don't make a impact there won't be a sims 5 🤷🏽♀️

I have to admit, this may be a pack that changes the game and makes it something people are actually excited to spend money on and play. I am beyond excited to see this and experience how this changes the game. To me, this announcement makes it feel like a whole new game and I couldn’t be happier.

Don't think it was too much of a secret as they constantly dropped so many hints in-game in packs even in cats and dogs with the seasonal calendar, but this looks great and seeing many things in here people been wanting too.
Weather effects a lot of things in game might even add more to the sickness system we got in GTW as well with sims being exposed to the weather now or even when they go to work or if other sims even want to come over due to the weather. I love Seasons.

this is one thing i hate about the sims 4 community, the sims will annouce this BEAUTIFUL pack but the community will just be like "ugh okay just give us university already, and that is the universiTEA. I've never been a big fan of Pets in The Sims but I was excited when it got announced but not as excited as I am now for Seasons and when they announced Toddlers. I've only played with Dogs in TS4 as I'm a Dog Lover aha and I think they are better than all the others we've got and the EP turned out better than I was expecting it to.

i cant believe how comprehensive expansion packs used to be, now we get horses and horses only for a $40 pack.
The cynical part of me believes that at least part of this is EA trying to win back the crowd after that stuff pack debacle. . .but if we seriously get beekeeping, roller-blading, and what LOOKS like some new magical stuff? I am ALL FOR IT. Now this is an EP that feels appropriately meaty! (Though I'll try to keep my excitement to a dull roar until some of this stuff is confirmed.)
Fam if you think they haven't been working on this for at least a year then I don't know what to tell you. There's no way that between the time of releasing that crappy Pets stuff pack and now that they could make an entire Seasons EP.
docette2015 I know one of the gurus said the lighting thing isn’t supposed to be magic it’s just like a lighting thing ¿ so I’m assuming you get like a moodlet for a day and can make electricity. Don’t quote me on that though lol. But there’s a lot of features that weren’t shown in origins description of seasons. Worth the read.
