This fight is just as dumb as it was in previous expansions. As a dk, you still do 0 dps, the fight is 90% running to eyes that take forever to die or from elementals while Velen is as usefull as shampoo to a bald man After all that you most certainly lose most of your tries cause that baffoon DH is suicidal and needs to be babysit the entire second part of this fight cause he will stand in shit and get oneshotted. In p2 you also seems stuck in a pinball machine. Actual tanking in this " tank challenge" ---> about 2% . However, IF you do what is suggested and farm gem gear in siege mythic and use the timewalking enchants and all, it becomes a walk in the park.
May I know what weakaura do u use, ur ui looks so clean and how do you hide the default dk runes underneath the character, it’s an eyesore overlapping with my weakaura :D thanks
My own WA's which are sub/patreon/TH-cam member perks sorry! I do however, use Ipse's Runes which you can find here - wago.io/IpseRunes . My UI is mainly made up of ElvUI, WA's and Plater if you wanted the addons to try and set yourself up.
Hey! How does scaling work with these new mage towers? I've been struggling with my assassination rogue. I'm in blue pvp gear. I'm not doing much damage... Only a bit over 2k damage overall, which makes it really hard lol.
did it at my 2nd try as vdh xD First time just went blind, then watched this video and one shotted it. 0 challenge in this game honestly. The biggest challenge is mythic raiding - 19 other people who have no clue how to do mechanics and because of that constant "wipe it". Just focus on drain life kick and you will be good (and on the 2nd phase also 1 important kick)
@@pr3287 different class have different HP and challange. Dk have 184k bears 90k warriors 269k. Some super easy some abit overtunned. Not impossible but u need super maxed dps and patience. Btw after 177 try got it done.
Any form of healing will generally pull them too you, best thing you can do is just switch to them asap and hope they come to you. On DK - DS, blood plague leeching via HS works, Druid frenzied regen or just dotting them all up with moonfire is easy. Prot Paladin though is full shit, no matter what you do generally they won't come to you, you have to go and dump conc on Velen whilst they are coming out and then they hit that, and run to you
The eyes despawn in P2 or if will die to plague damage so you can toss a DC on them when moving out of Aura of Decay etc which is what I was doing or hitting them with a BB when grabbing the adds
Not the best video but ok. You could have mentioned the seed trinket from the legion nightmare raid. That trinket RLY helped me a lot vs the shades and also vs the caster. Got a lucky try and finally did it. It was a special+victory+ for me, bec. at legion before the enhanced artefact--weapons were present, i had an 1% wipe with blood and gave up :( Still sad that i only got the frost artfact weapons and not blood too. RL stroke in and i could not finish it. So sad ..but happy i beat him now^^ Now i only need to do 1 healer challenge and the worm, then i will have the mount
Kruul should be landing at around 32% not 45% I'm going to make the assumption he landed and you let twisted reflections go through which would have healed him. The 4 infernals up versus my 2 is just your damage output. Be sure to be milking what you can inside Aura of Decay - using your cooldowns effectively inside Aura to get as much damage in, and then getting out to drop, but when your stacks are off, ensuring you're straight back in and on the boss for damage uptime.

man im really reluctant to do any mage tower on all my char because like u need to use old gear which is time consuming to farm. shit arent tune for DF gears?
Technically, you can totally do Mage Tower in regular DF gear. Whatever gear you have will just scale-down to ilvl 120 when you go inside. As with any TW instance, gems just scale BETTER than regular stats, so it's always better to have gear with a lot of gem sockets for TW than normal gear... it's BETTER, but not NECESSARY. So it boils down to this... try it a few times in your regular gear... if you're close, but just need more timing practice, then you can probably do it as-is you don't need special gear... if, however, you feel like you're not even close, or would be able to do it with just a little help, then yes, you might want to do some fine-tuning on gear. 1) You can start with DF gear... if you just need to fine-tune your secondary stats, like say you want more Haste/Vers, you can use Missives on crafted 343 gear to get more Haste/Vers for example 2) You can certainly farm Siege of Org for gemmed gear, but if it's too time-consuming for you... try... 3) Craft (or buy off AH) Dreadful Gladiator Gear with Relic of the Past IV to raise the item level above 120... then gem away. 4) Scour the AH... sometimes you can find gear (over i120) that has the stats you want and/or gem sockets for a reasonable price... even leveling greens can have the occasional surprise and go for cheap on AH to round-out your gear. 5) Some legendaries are still really good... try the BfA Legendary Neck and/or Cloak, they are both great for Mage Tower.
20 attempts is really fresh mate, don't get too juiced up and just try to learn and get comfortable with the mechanics. This can take 100 - 200 pulls for some

I run over to a nether horror, deathstrike it, the others go for velen. Sometimes it works, but most times it doesn't.

9:24 dang the void elf racial did 6% of your damage, didn't know it was this strong for this challenge
a good alternative set to use is a full pvp set. i used a full duelist set from s2 SL and cleared the warrior xylem challenge easily
Kinda surprised how easy it was compared to Legion as a bear. Took me some 50 tries in Legion but only 4 trys in DF.
Varis was the pain part of this, but on the 5th attempt killed him and then one shot Kruul. Ty you legend.

My 2nd phase comes with 45% HP yours is with 32%. WTF ?!?!??!?!?! You also have 2 big rock mobs I have 4. What the actual fuck is this challenge
