    THANK YOU for this fantastic tutorial! I am currently doing a trial of Photo AI 3 prior to deciding whether to purchase, having already purchased Denoise, Sharpen and Gigapixel back in 2021. I can see all kinds of advantages to the latest version of Topazlabs after watching your careful educational video. So thank you again!

    Shame that there is not a way to copy a mask from one enhancement to another, rather than having to mask each time.
    I have photos of an office interiors and Topaz Ai has problems with carpet areas, so I want to mask out the carpets.
    The photo however does need Denoise and Sharpening elsewhere. I just cannot see away to mask an area to use on all enhancements or am i missing something obvious ?

    Hi Chris, when in manual mode in canon d800, when turning exposure compensation wheel, will it always adjust shutter speed rather than aperture to align at zero, and why like that if i am correct?

    Excellent video. You taught an old dog some new tricks. I have used all the denoise and sharpening stuff out there, and after much testing, I found the Topaz Suite to be the best. Photo AI is amazing. Sometimes though, I use the old Denoise AI only, and it works for some photos. I also sometimes use the Sharpening AI for some photos too. But all in all, the new Photo AI is a really neat app. I have also just started rearranging the enhancements (denoise, sharpen) and indeed it does make a difference. Thank you especially about the saving presets, what a time saver!!! My bird photos that have been run through Photo AI can be seen on Flickr with the same name as my TH-cam channel. I use Olympus cameras, and have been using higher ISO's due to photo AI. Cheers!

    Thank you Chris, for the "deep dive." I applied the updates from 2.4 to take me to 3.0 and your explanations have saved me hours of time stumbling around and doing "trial and error" knowledge building about this newest version. As always, the granularity of your analysis had saved me a ton of time with this really neat software tool. This is one I'll watch more than once...and probably take some notes to create some shortcuts in my workflow. Loving your pictures from the trip to the Western U.S. btw.

    Thanks for the great video I just bought the program I have a question I can't seem to find autopilot when I open the program up it doesn't go into autopilot I thought it was supposed to is there any way that when I open the program I can get into autopilot I use it as a stand-alone.

      Autopilot runs automatically when you click on an image. If you see an adjustment or two in the right panel, then those are the AutoPilot suggestions. If you delete/remove all the adjustments you'll see a green button labeled; Apply Autopilot.

    Chris, can you make a video on relationship between focal length and focus and how focus is adjusted and focal length does not change in modern lenses. There is nothing out there, searched. Is it the lens curvature that changes with other lenses to create focus?

    • @ParkerPhotographic
      @ParkerPhotographic  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That sounds like a very technical question. I'm not very good with the technicals, and I don't think I'd be the right person for that. I don't spend much time on technical issues like that. I'm more concerned with composition, light, and editing vs. "how stuff works."
