Hi, great video review of some great items, I have a few old tooled Bachmann class 37’s, they are very good runners with matching details, Bachmann were the first manufacturer to fit a motorised roof fan in a class 37 to my knowledge, I think this is a excellent edition to a very popular locomotive, the only thing missing from the Accurascale class 37 is a working roof fan, I believe the 2nd run of them will have a working roof fan. You have an amazing collection of locomotives and rolling stock, thanks for sharing.
Thankyou so much, wow, that's interesting to know, well it was inevitable that someone was going to make a working roof fan, what next......working wipers...lol....I think the only down side to the Bachmann Delux model is the £370....but accurascale prices might go up maybe next time. Thankyou, ya the collection is getting bigger, but the difference is I know what I'm wanting and not just buying random trains. Lol👍 Your welcome, more to come soon.
@@mrmartinb1615 Bachmann s prices are shocking as far as I’m concerned, I bought a newly tooled class 47 from Hatton’s a few weeks ago for £148, I’m looking to get a fan from their spares department, once I’ve fitted the sound decoder I shall fit the fan assembly, working wipers is a bit extreme on a 00 gauge loco, i only buy what I want for my Collection, I’m not modelling on a era, it’s items I want to run on my layout once I’ve built it, keep up the great work.
@@StormmyStormmy Ya a little crazy, mind you £148 for a modern day newly tool loco ain't bad. I'm guessing it's cheaper doing it that way than buying it all in. Do you know if you can get JGA bogies from there spares at all? Your very much a person after my own heart, as long as I get a full length freight train I'm a happy man..🤣....Thankyou. Good luck. 👍💪
@@mrmartinb1615 Hi, I’m not sure, if you go on the site and have a look they should have them to be fair, I got my bits the other day, I fitted the new fan to my class 47 and it works very well indeed, I’m going to add sound via the ESU website sound files, I use mainly Loksound decoders on my loco’s.
@@StormmyStormmy I'll have a little look, cheers. It's so nice the finished project is in site. lol. Have fun with it. 👍💪 Loksound are some of the best.
Hi Martin, i just subscribed to your channel. Some great videos and fantastic layout and plenty of rolling stock. Can i ask if the Dapol JHA wagon with the tail lamp drew extra power form the track. When i run my set with the end wagon it draws power from the track/controller and slows the train. When i lift wagon off, the speed of train increases again.
Thankyou so much. Now that is interesting, it was my brothers layout that I ran the wagons round. I didn't have a decoder in it but my brother has two of them with decoders and put it this way he hasn't notice anything unusual with them pulling extra power and he is using the NCE power cab controller. But to be fair he only usually runs only two trains at a time anyway. What controller are you using?
