Do not need a hot water to remove Mealybug at the roots, media or pots.. All we need to do is, just sink the infected root or media for a few hours & the Mealybug is drowned.

Have you tried hot water processing on copiapoa? Erioscye? Astrophytum? Echinocactus horizonthalonius?
What are scale growth on cacti? Are they a living organism and how do I get rid of it?
Yes, they’re a bug with sucking mouthparts like a mosquito. Treatment for them is similar to mealybugs.

Vudu Sid not even mealybugs. Hydrogen peroxide and water will kill them.

Works great for spider mites too!
You can watch the webbing and mites fizz and melt away but you must make direct with each mite or it will survive.
These things are on my hibiscus ugh..
