    What a nice ride and weather. In a few weeks I'm quitting my job here in the Netherlands and moving back home to Lithuania, getting a bike license and a CB500x. Can't wait to do such rides throughout the summer :)

    This is what the Pacific Northwest in the US looks like (where I live now). I am so happy I get to ride like this almost every day. My daughter and I are going to do some rides together this summer, looking forward to it. Nice you and your father could ride like this.

    Thanks - The video was relaxing to watch and captured the 'vibe' of the trip. It's a privilege for father and son to be able to share an interest and ride out together and that should be a memorable day for you both. I enjoy motorcycle trips to scenic places with my own sons and don't take it for granted that they want to spend their leisure time with the 'old man.' I also ride a Honda CB500X and really appreciate its versatility - It's a great bike! Cheers from Devon, UK and regards to your Dad too.

    I have been riding 1000cc+ bikes since 1989, i have just sold my 2018 R1200GS Rallye back to my local dealer, i bought it new and got some cash back :) . I have wanted a Himalayan for ages since watching 'itchy boots' and 'KARMAkaze moto' youtube vids, those Royal Enfield engines and bikes just seem to go on and on ...2021 RE adventure it is then lol :D
    Brill vids you are putting out, new sub here :)

    I was just over on your page the other day wondering where you went....I was running out of content to watch while the winter weather has had me pinned down (bike-wise).....and then out of nowhere, here you are...Itchy Boots wasn't putting out any content either, so I figured it had something to do with the lock downs over there....and now you are both back.....good to see!! We'll be getting a taste of spring here in New York this week...maybe I will be able to get out for a brep myself ...long overdue!

    Hi Thomas!
    Very nice video as usual. The landscapes are superb. 👍
    Roads? Where we're going (on our bikes), we don't need roads! 😉
    I am gradually approaching this happiness of being a biker. Just got the theoretical part of my license yesterday. But the low speed exercises on a Z650 are still complex for me. 😐
    Like Biff Tannen in "Back to the Future III" I don't really like manure. 🤣
    Have a nice week!

      Just for info, it’s totally forbiden to use any engine powered vehicle in dirt roads or paths in the forests in Wallonia since 30 years. Between fields, it's still allowed, but not when you have woods on both sides.

    A great looking ride and nicely shot. Three questions if you don't mind;
    1) I noticed you were not using the Quad lock, is that something you regret mounting? does it interfere with your view?
    2) Are you still on the Dunlop stock tires or have you changed them? What will you change them to if you haven't already?
    3) What is your background music? it' s nice.

    Hi brightrider. Did you find a need to replace the front 15 tooth sprocket for a 16 tooth sprocket in order to reduce the vibrations at higher speeds? Apparent some people are doing this, also to create a better range in the lower gears. I’m interested to hear your opinion. Really enjoying your vids from Brisbane Australia. I’m about to order a cb500x after 14 years 4 wheels only. Cheers

      Kwaliteit is goed, maar het is geen premium. Heb hem ongeveer 3 jaar. Recent heb ik de koppelplaten moeten vervangen, toegegeven, heb zo ook zwaar belast in dat TET-tripje naar NL waar wel heel veel los zand was. Morgen gaat hij binnen voor vervanging van de balhoofd-lager. Er ligt ook al een nieuwe ketting en tandwielen op. Ben er nog altijd tevreden over, maa het is geen motor voor iemand die houdt van snelheid. Enkel als je veel autostrade moet rijden, zou ik hem afraden.
