You figuring it out all live on video was so cool 😂 such a long intro and i love it Rick just flipping all the notebooks 😂 yes this feels like a hint hunt. But for them this time 😀
Seeing them spend 20 minutes decoding the shorts cipher really makes me hope that when they finish season 2 they watch some summary of the ARG Alex Hirsch made for the fans of the show and see them try and figure out the clues to it as they watch it.
The whisper in the intro has *_not_* always been the same. Each time the cypher changed in Season 1, the whisper changed as well, giving a hint to the current cypher. The same is true this time. The codes in season 1 were chosen to be crackable by a single person, working on their own. By season 2, the creators knew that there were entire subreddit communities of _thousands_ dedicated to finding every hint and cracking every code - so they stepped up their game. Look at 22:01 in this very video. 😉
The bodies were moved there randomly from graves up hill without people knowing by sweeping mud slides that lightly reformed the landscape its not told in the show but in the real life copy of book 3.
That makes sense, considering in the episode revolving around Pacifica's house and the curse or whatnot, there was the axe guy being swept away by a massive mud slide down the hill. I imagine the bodies were those of the workers spanning all of the years the house took to be built.
@@RENwood4 Yup but I said the least posible about the Northwest Manor Mystery episode cause it would be spoiling just the mudslides and what was unseen that the mudslides did.

Oh my GOD was this a great watch. Seeing you guys decipher the codes and theorizing was super fun, especially as someone who already knows what lies on the other side. All I can say is that you guys are doing SO well, getting very close to the answers. I wish I had been that smart when the show was still airing lol I usually just waited for the smart fans to crack the ciphers and post them
A nice head cannon about this episode is that Stan was still able to see the invisible ink even on his photo copies of journal 3 because he used the magic printer that can clone human beings.
"I think this is the most that our notes have helped us with a reaction, and they didn't even help us that much." Watching these guys break the codes is so enjoyable. The first time I saw the series, there were a few ciphers I saw in the first season that I could work out fairly easily and usually in my head. I didn't keep notes and usually I forgot what they said within the next two episodes. As the codes got more complicated, I just sat back to enjoy the show. It's great that they have worked them out and not just looked them up online.
This is exactly why I like “kids shows” like gravity falls. Cause while it’s directed at kids there’s a lot more intricate things tied in that make it even more interesting for people like myself and older audiences willing to decipher it. It makes it SO interesting though I love the show anyway.
You guys deciphering and theorizing like other die-hard Gravity Falls fans, is what makes you guys different from other reactors. Enjoyed the entire video!
I'm so glad you guys got really into decrypting the codes. I remember trying to do it on my own but it was just easier to wait for some blogs to do it before me
Idk how they’ll see this but they missed the final cipher page, maybe it’s something with Disney+ and how they view it but I know they’ll have a field day with those
After 2-3 weeks, I'm so excited to see you reacting to Season 2 of Gravity Falls. This is the Season where things get dark, scary and story-driven heavy considering that after Grunkle Stan collected all 3 books and attempted to opened the portal this caused the attention of the FBI agents (one of them voiced by Nick Offerman) to visit Gravity Falls and the appearances of the Zombies coming out of the ground. Also I'm impressed that whomever (Alex Hirsch or the Voice/Casting Director of Gravity Falls) brought in Nick Offerman from Park's and Recreation to Gravity Falls along with the other celebrities the previous Season (e.g. John Oliver, Larry King, Coolio, Alfred Molina, etc.) and those to come in Season 2 deserves a big pat on the back.
I miss seeing grown ups do detective work to find all the codes and everything to figure out the coding and decoding in Gravity Falls. It’s like 2015 again. Granted- I didn’t get into Gravity Falls until S2 E17, Dipper and Mabel vs. The Future- BUT YEA. It’s nice seeing people do mystery stuff
LESSSSGOOOO SEASON 2 BABY!!! Kudos to you guys decoding the cryptograms and secrets, and that's part of the reason why you guy are my all time fave reactors, not just Gravity Falls but as a whole.
Honestly most of us just copy and pasted the ciphers into decoders online!! LOVED the first 20 minutes of this, I still have atbash memorized because I used to take notes with it in school bc of GF. loove this show/this channel
Love how you guys are living the full experience while decoding everything! This is literally what the fandom did so you're living it just like we did when it was still being released
Officially the best reactors on youtube! The fact that you actually go to the effort to decode everything is so satisfying! Lots of people had thousands of theorys before all episodes came out. the author of the show REALLY put a lot of work in this show and Season 2 is just the best season of an animated show ever. The first season is like an introduction of all the characters and it makes you love all of them. Now the real shit begins!!
YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST REACTORS IN GRAVITY FALLS IM NOT EVEN KIDDING You guys theorize and decode from clues and ciphers given from the show. I LOVE IT. ITS SO SATISFYING. Hey a page flashes after the credits at the end of season 2 episodes. It has more ciphers if you are interested in deciphering them too. I think you guys would find them interesting...
Arguably, there are burial grounds everywhere here in America. Indigenous burial mounds are all over this country. It's not too wild to think one might have been near the Mystery Shack.
Kinda late and I don't know if it was said already but "reverse the cipher" refers to bill cipher in the dream episode when he's making random noises reverse the audio and he'll make sense
I love how their speculation about the "Two Stans" is simultaneously completely correct AND also completely wrong XD I'm actually surprised that they didn't find the new cypher though - Basically always when they hear a voice they recognize in a show, they then check the credits to make sure it was in fact the person they thought. This time Aaron checked it on his phone instead of looking at the actual credits tho (I guess cause rewinding on Disney+ sucks so much) so they didn't see the clue in place of Nick Offerman's name.
I love how much care you guys take to properly dig into the shows codes and clues. I've not seen anyone bother to do this since the show was actually airing and the fandom did it. I can't wait to see when it all pays off for you. (Especially the glasses thing).
The zombies were my favorite "monsters of the week" of the series. Many creatures from the show are more like parodies and aren't meant to be taken too seriously, but the undead are genuinely a great interpretation of this monster that manages to be pretty scary.
I was mesmerized watching you all decode the message at the beginning of the video. I was trying to help, but you weren't listening to any of my suggestions, LOL!
The show actually gives a reason as to why the bodies that became zombies were there. You just don't know it yet! Also, considering human history, I'm sure few places have no bodies at all.
this deciphering process is wild. i understand little to none of it (the actual deciphering, the messages make sense) but i’m so entertained lmfao this one is making me so excited for “not what he seems” that one is going to be a banger reaction
I’ve seen a few comment saying this already, but there’s an image at the end of each episode in season 2 like there was in the shorts. And much like the shorts, these images also have ciphers to decode on them and these messages are, in my opinion, some of the best ones in the series.
this show was meant to be reacted to, it is so awesome that y'all actually do the ciphers and codes. There's a few hidden messages throughout some eps but still, most reactors don't seem to have the dedication but understandable, i never solved them myself. always watched youtube theorists talk and solve all the workvbut still. S+++ show and i have been loving y'all reaction
I was genuinely so captivated by the puzzle-solving intro
I'm surprised you guys didn't notice that the blacklight revealed something on the page next to the one showing the tree
They guessed the T-word! They're onto it, they're onto it!

It’s very nice watching them decipher this.
The animation and color palette for Season 2 is so much better than the first season, you can really tell that the budget went higher. The story and lore is also much more intense in this season. Cant wait for the rest of the reactions
"what if there's another stan"
hehehe, yea, what if..
There's an episode explained why there is so many corpses around the mystery shack
