No wait nevermind I have been told a few times in the past that as long as anyone hears the terror radius, or sees the killer.. Means the killer is camping. No matter where said killer is and where said hooked survivor is.. Also its tunneling if you hook them a second time even if you hooked everyone else.. I have experienced it all.. Its really funny the lengths some people go to when they get salty and want to control other people's way of playing so they can get free wins.

With my mindset when it comes to gaming, especially if it’s a competitive PvP game, I definitely could see people raging at how I play this game, lol. That said, even though I’ve seen several videos like this, I still don’t really know what people are upset about. Like, what does he mean by “proxying”? And why is it bad? I know what camping is, that gets complained about in pretty much every game where you can do it, lol.
Proxying is basically camping but less restrained, you usually stay close to the hook and usually near whatever is near them mostly gens. I don’t know if that was a genuine question but that’s what it is lol

Camping in shooters is completely different thing. There it is a really pathetic and no skill playstyle, also not effective in KPH or if the game has proper skill rewarding mechanics or if its a really skilled fps - arena fps. But in Battlefield, CoD, R6S, this playstyle is effective and not punished by developers sadly. Thing is just lay down in a good spot, and abuse way too loud ingame sounds and short TTK to have great upper hand over his opponents, and this is very boring for everyone and requires much less skill to do. In dbd proxy camping is good cause its most effective way to win - tunnel one asap, and if you will be nearby the hook, you can start chasing the target right away. Opposite option of proxy camping is going to the other side of the map, hoping that survs there will not stealth or will get you fast chases, both of each is absolutely not guaranteed and can end up in huge time waste, heal on the unhooked and his stealth to the end of the match, cause dead on hook survivors are the key for killer's victory, and all knows that. Thats why survs created their rulebook - to gaslight and shame killers from playing efficient tactics to win. In other games camping is way not that effective as in dbd

As a survivor main. The only thing that I have a slight problem with is tunneling. Like, I understand if I am the only one the killer saw. But when they go out of their way to tunnel is when I get a little aggravated.

I love how people complain about tunnel and camping. Campings means they are wasting their time on you while your teammates can escape. I would rather give them a 1k than a 3k. As for tunneling, again they are focusing on you while teammates pop gens. You can escape a tunneling/camping killer if you got good team coordination or in general a good team. My friends and I have escaped plenty of times. Plus I also understand tunneling someone at 2 gens without hooking the other 3. You need to build pressure and that’s the only way.
It is annoying when you get tunneled and camped but there are counters to that gameplay and at the end of it all, it's no big deal. No need for calling names to the killer trying to kill
