Some of the killers wanna play normal and then end up getting bullied by some swf who's never had to play killer against a toxic squad who proceed to just taunt and bully the shit out of them. Same with the new survivors who want to play and joke around, they face an asshole nurse and want to feel like the ones in control for a change. Dbd's always been a cycle and I don't see it really changing but there's always some outliers who are just naturally like that.

I usually hate franklins but as i play killer more and more i made it so whenever i see 3+ flashys or 4 items i run it now.I completely understand why killers do this now
Please understand I wasn't trying to run the killer, I was just running. We had dealt with a lot of matches like that on that day and we just wanted out. Please note on my 2nd hook i was giving up but the survivor unhooked me (of course Sky didn't add that in video) and bc he went down I tried to run as far away as possible to give them the chance of the other survivor to get him up.

I like how people are stating the streamer should act or feel like this, but they can't act how they feel. Killers play the way they want and people handle everything differently. Yes, they probably could have handled it better, but it could have been a whole lot worse. Some of the things I have seen in after game comments are horrible and all they did was ask why.

Well you can easily kill someone after chasing tunnelling and camping them so it means you have no skill because you used cheap tactics like it a surv 4 stack bring a sabo build or bnp

The only time I go full try hard and tunnel as killer is when the survivors are toxic and trying to bully, otherwise I play nice most of the time. I always play as hard as I can as survivor, mainly because I find playing survivor more difficult, and because I dont want to let my teammates down.
I once had a Steve who pointed to lockers where the other survivor were. I let the guy wiggle off and then I tunneled Steve. As of now the only time I really did tunnel someone
Killers: Gen Rushing is super boring and lacks skill. Survivors: what am I supposed to do, not play the game? Survivors: Tunneling is unfun and lacks skill. Killers: Tunneling is literally the logical way to win the game, I have to purposefully not do this. Me (Killer Main): If you don't gen rush, I won't Tunnel, deal? My point is that the game is set up in a way which rewards gameplay that isn't fun for the other side. The gameplay needs an update.
Honestly the first few minutes just describes the matches I get as Survivor. Killer normally hard tunnels someone out of the game as soon as possible, and because Im SoloQ, our team just crumbles after it happens. It's one of the main reasons why I play Killer more than Survivor nowadays. (Before someone says Im entitled, people can play how they want, it's perfectly fine. I just wish these playstyles were not as promoted by BHVR though, and I hope if they ever remove or decentive it, that BHVR buffs Killer accordingly. In reality, it will probably never happen, so I adapt and just play Killer instead of Survivor.)

I love the hit and run playstyle, hit then chase if I decide, and don't hesitate to hit. And I love getting my kills later, always builds suspense. Everyone plays their own way, who am I to judge? Yeah, camping is boring but some people choose that way
That's why I love legion, they maybe simple or average but they fit my playstyle to a T they're so fun and I enjoy learning and tbf the survior handbook, the two rules I enjoy following is no camping ever or tunneling too much ye know? Not much I can do if I can only find one person all of the time

When I play killer, my playstyle is kinda like the "survivor book". I don't like to tunnel neither to slug or camp. I much prefer a win by being fairplay than by having a toxic behavior. The only time I get to tunnel a bit or try to camp is when my game is really really rough and I sure loose and I just want one kill. But yeah, usually, I'm very very fairplay... It's really not fun when you focus the same person over and over and it's not fun when you're playing like your life will be over if you loose

In my experience, getting Survivors who are cool and pay the same respect & kindness forward are quite rare, unfortunately. (They do exist though, I've met some super sweet Survivors, it's not all doom & gloom :)

idrc how people play during a match. tunneling, camping and slugging are all part of the game. the only toxic thing i dislike are when killers stab a body when its hooked, when survivors are being toxic at the gate, and when the winner says gg during a match. im a survivor main and i really dislike when my teammates are toxic at the gate
back when i was only like 80 hours into the game i would always stab people on hooks because it made me feel like a cool psychotic killer lol i think people need to realise, not every seemingly toxic thing has toxic intent. Sometimes people just do "toxic" things, and from their point of view theyre just being goofy and having fun
To me a game is good as long as neither side are being jerks and ruining the game for others. I may get frustrated, but I never go tunnelling out or camping or any of the forbidden crimes. So long as the other team don't suddenly develop a compulsive urge to do rapid squats in sight of the Killer or want to hold the game up as long as possible when they clearly culd just leave, I just roll with the matches.
Why would it bother you for the winner to say gg? I almost always say gg glnm or glnm regardless of how the match went. I think it's just basic sportsmanship.

I like how the woman does not understand what playing to win is and how to do it. If you can take out the enemy one by one, then you should totally Spartan that. Not everybody will play as the other side wants. They will call you out if you win and if you lose (though then with t-bags).

The first streamer had a completely reasonable reaction if we’re being honest. The whole baby killer thing was a pretty crappy point, but they totally have the right to be mad with how the killer was playing.

Please make a survivor rulebook for survivers, in the first game get a team all with toolbox and perks to repair, in the second with flashlights and in the third one with no objects (the third one will be like the one following the rulebook)
The third rule is must , but you've had to protect some gens at least , that's exactly my playstyle never hook same person in a row, and try to protect some gens.
the problem i have with dead by daylight is the fact that if survivors are new, the buffed killers absolutely destroy them and make the game not so fun. then when they have like thousands of hours, it becomes unfun for the killer. the imbalance is so dumb

Playing the way that he did in the first match was an easy way and when he said that you will win 90% of you games like this actually admitted to how easy it is. Also please see that all of them pretty much gave up. Its boring game play and they didn't sign up for comp, so they were trying to go next. He knew he was being hard ass playing the way he did in that match... cuz he has to win that "million billion dollars on the line." She didn't care that she lost, she wanted to go next, so there is no "Copium" (correct spelling) needed!

Maybe it's just because I don't go for kills so I get easier games, but I play like this most of the time and I typically get to the point where I can kill everyone before endgame. Not saying everyone has to, I just do it to try and give people a nice experience rather than one that would tick 'em off...That said, if you let someone die on hook the gloves come off and I start stacking bodies.
Agreed, it is much easier for killers, they either make or break the game. I play a lot of killer and I do get great swf and bully squads, you play like you have to with them, I refuse to play dirty, unless it's how they play and I am only that way to that specific survivor. However, with the casuals (with the number of hours I have, it's obvious who is not seasoned) I play differently because I want everyone to have fun. After all its a game and we are all here to have fun, at least that is how I was brought up.
You should have done this with the same killer tho, if you want to prove a point, cause if you play nurse by the surv rulebook you would have win anyways probably cause its nurse... but instead of that you changed to low tier killers the more chill you play... It actually sounds and looks like you have to treat these survivors like theyre toddlers and youre babysitting them. You decide to play a videogame and if you dont let the kid win by a landslide they throw a fit "You beat me in a video game! Youre bad at the game!" And again 95% of the time the girls are angry you didnt just give them the win.

Might have to try your pressure with hooking someone twice near the start, so more people possibly take hits. Cause after not playing fit 2 season my skill has dropped massively
I main Onryo as killer, I usually jump across the map if I hook someone and if they get unhooked I jump close by and if I run into them again then it sucks but thats who Im going for. If I run into the other one then I go for them to alteast wound them. I usually let one survive unless I get 2+ flashlights on a team... then its fair game.

As a killer main, i think fairest match would be the one, where killer gets 8 hooks, or 9. I prefer to not kill, so its quite nice to have maximum hooks. I remember at good matches of trapper i relise survs that are on death hook, or slug them. Well problem i have baaad memoryXXD

the killer rule book is practically the same but is brought up less bc theres more survivors than killers, dont do gens, no looping, u cant play with friends, dont use certain perks, dont sit at the gate, dont use items, dont tbag, dont have fun just stand there and give hooks😂
My killer rulebook has 1 rule "If you have a build/comp that wont let me hook you, I wont, You will bleed out" aka, the wiggle build then running into corners of the map/2 story buildings so I have to drop down or take a mile walk, bully squads who have everyone dedicated to saving each other and denying me a single hook even if it means them not doing gens and them kinda things, like if youre not playing to finish the game, just so I cant finish the game either then you bleed :P You can run me for 5 gens, I'll have fun but if you run me for 10 seconds to the corner of the map or to your bully squad thats a different story XD

All the survivors come for someone youve just hooked? like you can literally see all 4 survivors? "Why you camping hook? Get good, uninstall" someone runs to the corner of the map with unhookable build? "Why dont you just pick me up". team full of flashlights going for the flash save? "lightborn is a noob perk" Or "Why didnt you just pick them up" When I can see 3 people with beamers "hidden" behind the thinnest tree or smallest box. Or my favourite "Why did you kill me" Im the killer... Its my job. Killers when im playing survivor just go next in the end game. no gg no nothing just go next. Or my biggest pet peeve is when they bring in toolboxes and BNP's crack out 2-3 gens in the first minute then when they go down shake there camera begging to not be hooked. I don't get why people think tunneling is bad and evil and being an asshole. One, fighting 4 people with each 1 hook is harder than 3 people with 0 hooks. Two, it's more easy to find someone you hooked because the game literally tells you. Three, survivors do body blocking. Thats annoying as fuck but thats okay because it's a 'stradegy', but tunneling isn't
One of the reasons I stopped playing the game for months was because people would always complain. If you flashlight safe or gen rush, the killer will get mad. If you tunnel or slug the survivors would get mad. When will people learn that gen rushing and tunnelling is a playstyle/tactic. Everybody has fun playing the game in their own way. The beautiful thing about games is the fact that you can join a new game right after. People feel so entitled to tell others how to play. If you only enjoy the game when winning THEN THAT'S ON YOU.
Everyone should play like the first game because there is no other way to win against the survivors I mean they had to heal and unhook all the match and they were able to do 3 gens
I’m SO frustrated w SWF. Almost none know how to “gen rush”. They clump up on one gen. So killers, I know you aren’t getting rushed very often. I have min days played (40-100) to join our group and even then they don’t listen. Three folks on one gen. (But it’s faster they stupidly say🥴👌🏻👌🏻)
I have 3 days played,almost every game is gen rush or attempt when I m killer. When im surv I gen rush with toolbox dwight with starter perks. Surv is fun because of the chase as much as killer is fun because of the horror movie vibes
@@DustyDesertRat yeah. But you probably double and triple up on gens. See the red progress bar? You suffer a speed penalty for every additional person on a generator. Plus it makes it extremely easy for the killer to pressure that Jen because you’re all on the same one. The killer can only be in one place at one time. Please don’t just start everyone on one Jen clumped up where you start. Split up. Go to different parts of the map. Make sure you don’t three gen and you’re gonna have a good game.

Feel like this video just shows how efficient tunneling and slugging is. I mean it's just as efficient as survivors using a bunch of shit to help them get generators done faster. I think tunneling and slugging is fine within reason like if you have to jenzi go off in the first couple of minutes yeah the only way you're going to catch up is by playing like that you should expect the killer to play like that

Yeah and no, its the best way to win vs a 4man swf who know what they are doing, reduce the numbers and lock in a 3 gen with gen regression perks, I think the meta in comp atm is erruption, pop, pain rez then the last perk tends to be info gathering but can change accordingly, if you can focus out 1 player while maintaning a good 3 gen you will most likely get a 2k atleast depending on how fast you focus out the 1 player. bearing in mind in comp there are rules to follow like certain perks arent allowed, certain addons, certain perk combos, on the survivors side no 2 of the same perk or survivor, only 1 toolbox, medkit, flashlight... comp is a whole different breed of dbd where tunneling and camping is the ONLY way to play. in pubs you can win pretty easily without that because unless its a swf they tend to 3 gen themselves, either be over altruistic or massivley under (aka sending people to unhook the second they are hooked giving trades or just refusing to unhook no matter where the killer is) they tend to play alot more timid because of no coms and no perk combo or addons are banned so you can use some of the more busted stuff and have a much easier time doing the same thing. but you are right, as a killer main its not my job to make sure you have fun or to let you live "because of the event" like why do you deserve bloodpoints and I dont? when I play survivor I never expect to be given the game but to earn it and yes if im tunneled a few games in a row im a bit annoyed at the chances of it being me back to back out of my team but it happens. I try not to tunnel cos I find it no fun but its a strat that works.

I like how people are stating the streamer should act or feel like this, but they can't act how they feel. Killers play the way they want and people handle everything differently. Yes, they probably could have handled it better, but it could have been a whole lot worse. Some of the things I have seen in after game comments are horrible and all they did was ask why.

The only time I go full try hard and tunnel as killer is when the survivors are toxic and trying to bully, otherwise I play nice most of the time. I always play as hard as I can as survivor, mainly because I find playing survivor more difficult, and because I dont want to let my teammates down.
For mi, i tunnel when is an organized team, is just impossible to win. And most of the times the organize teams are toxic so F them.
When they are bully squad then they dont do gens so its not even needed to tunnel

Honestly the first few minutes just describes the matches I get as Survivor. Killer normally hard tunnels someone out of the game as soon as possible, and because Im SoloQ, our team just crumbles after it happens. It's one of the main reasons why I play Killer more than Survivor nowadays.
(Before someone says Im entitled, people can play how they want, it's perfectly fine. I just wish these playstyles were not as promoted by BHVR though, and I hope if they ever remove or decentive it, that BHVR buffs Killer accordingly. In reality, it will probably never happen, so I adapt and just play Killer instead of Survivor.)

When I play killer, my playstyle is kinda like the "survivor book". I don't like to tunnel neither to slug or camp. I much prefer a win by being fairplay than by having a toxic behavior. The only time I get to tunnel a bit or try to camp is when my game is really really rough and I sure loose and I just want one kill.
But yeah, usually, I'm very very fairplay... It's really not fun when you focus the same person over and over and it's not fun when you're playing like your life will be over if you loose

idrc how people play during a match. tunneling, camping and slugging are all part of the game. the only toxic thing i dislike are when killers stab a body when its hooked, when survivors are being toxic at the gate, and when the winner says gg during a match. im a survivor main and i really dislike when my teammates are toxic at the gate
back when i was only like 80 hours into the game i would always stab people on hooks because it made me feel like a cool psychotic killer lol

To me a game is good as long as neither side are being jerks and ruining the game for others. I may get frustrated, but I never go tunnelling out or camping or any of the forbidden crimes. So long as the other team don't suddenly develop a compulsive urge to do rapid squats in sight of the Killer or want to hold the game up as long as possible when they clearly culd just leave, I just roll with the matches.

Playing the way that he did in the first match was an easy way and when he said that you will win 90% of you games like this actually admitted to how easy it is. Also please see that all of them pretty much gave up. Its boring game play and they didn't sign up for comp, so they were trying to go next. He knew he was being hard ass playing the way he did in that match... cuz he has to win that "million billion dollars on the line." She didn't care that she lost, she wanted to go next, so there is no "Copium" (correct spelling) needed!

Agreed, it is much easier for killers, they either make or break the game. I play a lot of killer and I do get great swf and bully squads, you play like you have to with them, I refuse to play dirty, unless it's how they play and I am only that way to that specific survivor. However, with the casuals (with the number of hours I have, it's obvious who is not seasoned) I play differently because I want everyone to have fun. After all its a game and we are all here to have fun, at least that is how I was brought up.

I main Onryo as killer, I usually jump across the map if I hook someone and if they get unhooked I jump close by and if I run into them again then it sucks but thats who Im going for. If I run into the other one then I go for them to alteast wound them. I usually let one survive unless I get 2+ flashlights on a team... then its fair game.

My killer rulebook has 1 rule "If you have a build/comp that wont let me hook you, I wont, You will bleed out" aka, the wiggle build then running into corners of the map/2 story buildings so I have to drop down or take a mile walk, bully squads who have everyone dedicated to saving each other and denying me a single hook even if it means them not doing gens and them kinda things, like if youre not playing to finish the game, just so I cant finish the game either then you bleed :P You can run me for 5 gens, I'll have fun but if you run me for 10 seconds to the corner of the map or to your bully squad thats a different story XD

Get good, uninstall" someone runs to the corner of the map with unhookable build? "Why dont you just pick me up". team full of flashlights going for the flash save? Or my favourite "Why did you kill me" Im the killer... Its my job.

I don't get why people think tunneling is bad and evil and being an asshole. One, fighting 4 people with each 1 hook is harder than 3 people with 0 hooks. Two, it's more easy to find someone you hooked because the game literally tells you. Three, survivors do body blocking. Thats annoying as fuck but thats okay because it's a 'stradegy', but tunneling isn't
One of the reasons I stopped playing the game for months was because people would always complain. If you flashlight safe or gen rush, the killer will get mad. If you tunnel or slug the survivors would get mad. When will people learn that gen rushing and tunnelling is a playstyle/tactic. Everybody has fun playing the game in their own way. The beautiful thing about games is the fact that you can join a new game right after. People feel so entitled to tell others how to play. If you only enjoy the game when winning THEN THAT'S ON YOU.
Everyone should play like the first game because there is no other way to win against the survivors I mean they had to heal and unhook all the match and they were able to do 3 gens

So killers, I know you aren’t getting rushed very often. I have min days played (40-100) to join our group and even then they don’t listen. Three folks on one gen. (But it’s faster they stupidly say🥴👌🏻👌🏻)
I have 3 days played,almost every game is gen rush or attempt when I m killer. When im surv I gen rush with toolbox dwight with starter perks. Surv is fun because of the chase as much as killer is fun because of the horror movie vibes

@@DustyDesertRat yeah. But you probably double and triple up on gens. See the red progress bar? You suffer a speed penalty for every additional person on a generator. Plus it makes it extremely easy for the killer to pressure that Jen because you’re all on the same one. The killer can only be in one place at one time. Please don’t just start everyone on one Jen clumped up where you start. Split up. Go to different parts of the map. Make sure you don’t three gen and you’re gonna have a good game.

Yeah and no, its the best way to win vs a 4man swf who know what they are doing, reduce the numbers and lock in a 3 gen with gen regression perks, I think the meta in comp atm is erruption, pop, pain rez then the last perk tends to be info gathering but can change accordingly, if you can focus out 1 player while maintaning a good 3 gen you will most likely get a 2k atleast depending on how fast you focus out the 1 player. bearing in mind in comp there are rules to follow like certain perks arent allowed, certain addons, certain perk combos, on the survivors side no 2 of the same perk or survivor, only 1 toolbox, medkit, flashlight... comp is a whole different breed of dbd where tunneling and camping is the ONLY way to play.
in pubs you can win pretty easily without that because unless its a swf they tend to 3 gen themselves, either be over altruistic or massivley under (aka sending people to unhook the second they are hooked giving trades or just refusing to unhook no matter where the killer is) they tend to play alot more timid because of no coms and no perk combo or addons are banned so you can use some of the more busted stuff and have a much easier time doing the same thing.
but you are right, as a killer main its not my job to make sure you have fun or to let you live "because of the event" like why do you deserve bloodpoints and I dont? when I play survivor I never expect to be given the game but to earn it and yes if im tunneled a few games in a row im a bit annoyed at the chances of it being me back to back out of my team but it happens. I try not to tunnel cos I find it no fun but its a strat that works.
