One of my favorites of all time. The movie that made me fall in love with Laura Dern as well. I remember seeing this in the theater and when she walks into light from the streetlamp... took my breath away. Literally.
those additional, deleted scenes--calling them "bad"--I don't know...I think they're pretty fascinating to consider. I almost think they were "bad" on purpose...
How can a movie like this -on a brilliant site like TFH - garner only 16 comments? THAT is more far out that anything David Lynch has done! We!!, maybe not Eraserhead😁
This movie is artistically unique and twisted but i could never get into it for some reason. TFH should showcase Calvaire(The Ordeal) for another truly twisted and fascinating flick.
Er, if we're talking about the same Blu-Ray release with the same 50 minutes of outtakes currently sitting on my DVD shelf, then I'm afraid Mr Olsen, Dennis Hopper does appear in the deleted scenes - no less than three by my reckoning. The outtakes are a VERY mixed bag IMO (Hopper's being the best), but I'm still glad none of them wound up in the finished movie. Its perfect as it is. A true masterpiece.
bundoz - I actually like the deleted scenes that would have taken place at the very beginning of the film that fleshed out Jeffrey as more of a pervert. I think it would have explained some of his motivations later in the film, and made him a darker character, which was implied when Frank said he was like him. I’ve read the original script, and I think there are some things left out that would have made it an even better film.

"The Hardy Boys go to hell", and, "a neighborhood picture".... Lynch's descriptions of this classic.
What a great movie! From the on point music cues to the smash cuts. Everything phenomenal
I'm obsessed with Dennis Hopper's character in this film
Don't forget "suave" Dean Stockwell. :)
One of the best channels on youpube.

Lynch had a lot of outtakes in the Lime Green box set, for Wild at Heart I believe. Years before the Blue Velvet blu ray.
Inconceivable!!

The movie is as good as anything ever made. Blew my mind, Denis Hopper scared the hell out of me.
Is Trailers From Hell paying Josh in empanadas?
ARE YOU A POS WITH A COMPUTER?
1:40 Peter Travers gives the movie some pretty faint praise.
