Your GNS430 videos are fantastic, thanks so much for taking the time to put together this information! If I could make one suggestion, turn up the volume in your videos. I have my speakers turned all the way up and still have to really listen. Other than that, great work and thanks again!
Nice video. I disagree about one thing. I hate hate hate autozoom, especially in an aviation GPS. I find that it completely messes with my sense of scale from the map, if every time I look the current target waypoint is almost at the top of the screen. I also always have track up (which you do too), not north up. That way, I can steer the airplane until the magenta line is vertical and then I'm right on course (and I can do that with peripheral vision). Very good points, and a nice demo.
quick question. you mentioned you used the HSI OBS knob to select which radial you want while you are in OBS mode. is there any other way to pick a radial using the GPS unit only? and not the HSI OBS knob? Thanks for the help
Yes, if the CDI is set to "VLOC" rather than "GPS" when you enter OBS mode, a popup box will appear where you will enter the new course using the control knob on the right rather than the HSI OBS knob.

You can select which fields display on the screen in the setup area of the aux page.
My GNS400 doesn't show me the dashed line between the legs. How can i enable it?
