Your videos are so helpful, if you only knew how appreciative I am for being subscribed to your channel. Thank you. I have a question for you please. Where can i do exactly what you just did here? I would like to use the Garman 430 just as you did here with the Garman tracking the plane in motion. I think this will help me much more since I am not in the air or have a professor sitting next to me. Thank you for your help in advance.
Hey there! Great video even after all these years I actually just got an airplane with a Garmin GNS 430 W. your air route traffic control center discussion would probably help me in the situation but yesterday I was flying near Providence Rhode Island and I’m flight following the controller gave me a frequency that I could not dial into the comm side of the radio. I believe it ended in 75 kHz and my radio just skipped over the 70 or 75 whatever it was so I thankfully had an older radio on comm 2 I was able to get that proper increment. So my question is How do you tune smaller kilohertz frequencies using the com knob on the left side?
I’m taking my check ride in a 430 equipped a/c and this is sooo going to reduce my workload! Thanks for taking the time to make this!
wow ............. this is really helpful info ..... really helpful. The switch back is awesome.
Thanks, Ray! I'm just starting instrument training and this is a huge help.
Yes i agree, I am also starting the IFR and this is seriously a great guy to keep watching.
great lessons.. thanks Mr Ray.
