Great video, helped a lot. I've formed a single-member LLC while on OPT (I also have a full-time, field-related job) and I'm planning to file taxes as a sole proprietorship. Do I still need an EIN in this case?

Yes, you do need an EIN for your company. After all, its a LLC.
