  • In this full Kundalini Kriya, we work on the area of the pelvis to set a solid foundation for ascension. We move through a set of twists, arm-strengtheners and squats, making this a total body practice accessible to students of all levels! We end with a Meditation for the Tenth Gate (the Crown Chakra), mentally saying the mantra HAR HAR as we pull the navel in, and mentally saying MUKANDAY as we press the tip of the tongue to the mouth. Enjoy this powerful 7th Chakra activation.

    I'm so grateful to find your other yoga videos which target older bodies. Thank you! I'm going to give this one a go too and go easy on those squats because I have a worn out knee but am determined to get back into my yoga practice 🙏🏻

    My aura is charged, glowing and pink. Kundalini kriyas really help my sinuses. I feel energized and ready for the day. I love the visualization of my crown opening to infinity and the unknown. During these times different people will float through my thoughts for a special prayer. It is so wonderful to open up and stretch beyond what limits me to make room for newness. Namaste!

    I use to go to kundalini classes before the pandemic but this is by far the best kundalini videos I've seen. You teach exactly as if we were there in person. Good job! And namaste 🙏

    This was so special this morning and I was able to fine-tune into my crown, along with the mantra HAR and the tapping of the roof of the mouth. I am finding my own rhythm in these moving kyiyas. These become moving meditations for me, and I feel a core in my being. I am not sure what it is or how to describe it. Without a doubt, and with faith and practice more will be revealed. Namaste

    Loved how different this was. Some of the breath of fire was like patting my head while rubbing my tummy! I hopefully will be able to improve on my coordination technique! Thank you it was a lovely practice. I really love doing the daily practices as it makes me try new things which I otherwise would give a miss.

    All I can say is WOW! Brett, this was an amazing practice. As I already mentioned, this is the second time I am going through this series. Until now I have not really enjoyed the chanting but I am really starting to appreciate what it does for my system. I don't know how you were able to do 26 squats while you are pregnant. You are amazing! I got through half of them all the way down and had to modify the last half. I was amazed I was able to do that. Can't wait until tomorrow for day 12. You are such an inspiration to me. Namaste!

    Brett, you are a miracle worker.
    I have fallen in love with Kundalini with your help. I sincerely wish to focus on developing and deepening my practice.
    Could I ask for some book recommendations or any other sources where I could find the basics of Kundalini?
    Thank you so much for charging us with your inspiration and energy with each video! x Lots of love.

      Unfortunately I do not have any good book recommendations for you at this time. Are you part of the private facebook group? facebook.com/groups/112605845750434/?ref=pages_groups_card&source_id=190836497729518 This would be a great question to ask there!

    I felt like I was energizing my aura with the up and down and side to side movements. I actually felt my electricity, so to speak, and my aura color was dark. I think the dark aura signifies my deep stability and deep grounding. I found those movements very soothing and meditative. The energy shift within was subtle and smooth. I like the ending. Please tell me what Mukanday means. Namaste

    • @BrettLarkinYoga
      @BrettLarkinYoga  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Here is the definition I found: Har har mukanday is a Kundalini yoga mantra that liberates the yogi from whatever is blocking or holding him/her back. Har is the Sanskrit root word for Hari, one of the Hindu names for God; and hara, which means “destroyer” or “remover.” Mukanday is the liberating aspect of the Self. Therefore, in the spiritual sense, the mantra beseeches God to remove or destroy that which is preventing liberation.
      Hope this answers your question!

    I like the exercises. But i don't like these rapid breathes (forgot the name 😂). I lost the time of the movement so i do the slow breath. But i love the meditation.

    I have strong physical and emotional reactions to kundalini. Today I felt nausea after the last meditation...organ detox perhaps? It doesn't feel wrong...just strange.

    It's quite distracting when you keep talking during the meditation stage. I want to commit, but then you keep interrupting. That's my only criticism.
