    After removing the large silver ring, you dont need to use the screw drivers to prise the pump out. Thats what the big plastic tag on the front is for. You pullt out the whole assembly using the Tag. You are NOT suposed to move the white tabs. Hope this helps someone. The $75 dollar tool is to remove and refit the silver ring that holds the seal into the tank.

      sorry just getting back to you - all I know is that, you don't need the tool, and my bike does not leak and has been running good ever since

    Nice job, guys. However, BMW has issued an international warrant for your arrest. Apparently what you have done is a worse felony than replacing the battery in your iPhone.

    Don’t you bench test the old fuel pump.? If it worked was it dragging any amps? Should’ve changed the FPC as well, you’ve got the older version still, the newer ones are black anodised...

      Sorry, it’s Fuel Pump Controller (sits on the tank)
