Honerable mention: The legend of Saha which was created by the head writer of Genshin Impact, and shares a lot of similarities with it. Not technically a Mihoyo game, as he created it before Mihoyo was founded. Also I do believe that Genshin Impact universe or bubble verse exits on the Mihoyo Imaginary tree. Otto saw Dvalin while searching the imaginary tree, along with seeing 🎉the Captainverse Rosemary. There are too many character similarities to be a coincidence, and while the introduction of the All Devouring Narwhale, it solidified that beings from other parts of the universe can make their way into Teyvat. Lastly I would like to point at that the wings of descention where given to the twins by a kind woman named, K.K.
Honestly for me, personally, they should have done that GGZ is included to the honkai universe. Simply just because of the Will of Honkai. And it could be, probably, easily explained of why there is no actual WoH or Coordinator or Will (CoW) in Hi3. Since it was defeated in GGZ. WoH/CoW is quite, unique after all, imo. And not just because of what they did in Hi3 with Elysia, Prometheus and so on. Especially of how the WoH/CoW actually came into existence.
Uh... no Like Ajita said, something like honkai, shadow,... will eventually form a sentient regardless of how And honkai works differently in each world so GZZ would have no effect on Hi3 story either ways
I think it goes by. fly me to the moon, zombie gal kawaii, houkai gauken, honkai impact 3rd, zenless zone zero, honkai star rail, new announced one, the MMO leaked one.
Reason why I think zenless zone zero is connected is because the moon is purple, the writing on papers looks the same as the writing system inside star rail, and I think it takes place after they connect both impact 3rds' universe and star rail's together. Just like they did with the salt snow city, and the universe inside durandel.
The moment Traveller is able to escape Teyvat it's definitely going to connect to the rest of the Honkai verse. People shouldn't forget that the backstory of the Travellers in CBT was that their homeworld had been destroyed long ago and the twins kept jumping from one world to another and continuing to explore the worlds they are last of their kind. So yeah let's hope by the end of Genshin Part 1 we can finally underestand how it connects to the rest of Hoyoverse games
In my personal opinion, it doesn't matter, cause everyone may have their own theory and belives about the games, but in the end the devs are the one who chose how the game's story goes and if they're connected or not
Everything I talk about in the video is based on what the developers have done and said. They may later on retcon stuff and change others but for now this is how it is

This was true at the time. Their pasts were more or less the same However, as more lore got added and Previous Era (Hi3rd) & Era Zero (GGZ Previous (&1st) Era) lore was explored, their pasts becane extremely different. The differences only grew when we learned how Herrshers, Stigmata and Honkai Energy worked so differently between the 2 games. This to say, their original explanation is now incorrect. So imo until they give a new explanation or explicitly say Houkai Gakuen 2 is part of the Imaginary Tree (never mentioned), it's only a theory at most (I don't think they're connected)

I believe that the reason the devs haven't made direct connections to the honkai series when it comes to genshin is because they want to surprise everybody and the reason I believe this is because I saw a theory a while back or a video pointed out two things 1. How the place you go to at the start of the game looks like a train stop or some kind of place for a spaceship or Interstellar vehicle to stop at 2. There was a interview when introducing honkai star rail to the honkai series games and right beside honkai impact 3rd was genshin impact😅 Now even if they're not a part of the honkai series I'll still play I'm just saying I wouldn't be surprised if when the traveler leave to that and the part one story ends and it's revealed apart of the series I wouldn't be surprised😅 and what I said about the interview I never really watched the interview I just seen this one clip and everybody just points it out so I'm not actually trying to use it as evidence I just want to point it out too😅
The Unknown god in Genshin Impact is Herrscher of the Void. Their designs are identical. It is possible that The Unknown god will make a return appearance at the end which might introduce Kiana.
I feel like it’s very important to differentiate the Honkai series and the Honkaiverse. The Honkai series only contains the games like GGZ, Honkai 3, Star Rail, and maybe Genshin because it was originally supposed to be Honkai 4. While the Honkaiverse includes everything including Genshin (with some exceptions like zzz which currently lacks any hard evidence, and ToT which I know nothing about)
Didn't Otto what watched in the main story of Honkai Impact 3rd in a monitor Dvalin making that Genshin Impact is part of the Honkaiverse but currently is unknown is part imaginary tree or sea of quanta. Also Misha reference an adult Narval that is whale that can swallow entire planets.

I think with them connecting HI3 to HSR, that HSR will be the one who will bring the other worlds into the Hoyoverse more directly. As HSR is doing the galactical exploring. Sure, HI3 does some space traversal, but HI3 is more local if that makes sense. So I would wager you'll see the Astral Express gang on Genshin before HI3. Same with them and Zero and Tears.
Its sad to Know genshin is not part of the honkai series but there are defenietly similarities, like the pyro Archon Being called murata and i refuse to say that the unknown god is not a kiana variant!

I disagree with OP. When Otto Apocolypse was searching the imaginary tree he saw Dvalin, and saw Fallen Rosemary. This wasn’t an event, but an actual part of the story. Also the devs have confirmed that Genshin universe is part of The imaginary tree, as well the travelers wind glider being on Herta’s Ship, along with Himeko’s blade.

The collab between honkai impact 3 and HSR isn't canon it's a event for HI3 only just like the genshin collab. Genshin is a part of the honkai series it to this day uses themes and characters from honkai the pyro archon is himiko on top it won't surprise me if the cryo archon is bronya or seele. Genshin has unknown god, Raiden ei, yae Miko, mavika, nahida I believe there are more but those are base off different appearance of the Valkyrie. I believe that was during a captainverse story not the main story. That also just makes it part of the hoyoverse not the honkai universe
