I'll keep saying it, Aoi Yuuki is a monster in versatility, no matter what character is given to her, she will always fit her voice to the character like a shoemaker master.
She began her career as a child actor at the age of 7.
I completely agree. Aoi always does a good job, upon hearing the first words you already know it's her and the boldness and vitality that comes with her characters

The voice cast of this show is just phenomenal. Especially Jinshi’s and MaoMao’s. It wouldn’t have this level of popularity without them.
Takeo Otsuka was in a lot of shows in 2023 and all his characters are so different! Even I had to remind myself that he is Aqua 😅. He even voiced Oushi in A Sign of Affection who is also different.

My favourite roles for him is Leon Fou Bartford from Mobuseka/Otome Game Sekai wa Mob.
He is also the voice of Aoi and Momochi-san's Mr. Nuo.

It was wild back then watching Adventure of Dai and Spy Family back to back at the weekend, seeing the two VAs as the hero and the princess in one show and then as the daughter and the mom in the next lol
I'm always pleasantly surprised when going through the credits of an anime and I find out it's her. She's like a perfect method actor who completely blends in with the character but she always sounds so comforting

Another Aoi Yuuki's great victory, imo her new peak.
See, I associate Aoi Yuuki more with her role as Kumoko/Shiraori. That was a masterful performance and carried the series. One of my favorite VAs thanks to the versatility of her performances.

Whenever I see these, why does the list for Tanezaki Atsumi always seem to include Anya *or* Frieren, but never both? Surely those are her two biggest recent roles.
well, in frieren vid, both are included. and gotta give her other roles some spotlight too. since i only include 5 roles per seiyuu (main/key characters) each vid.

I love Aoi Yuuki,, I first heard her in Youjo Senki and Kumo desu ga and fell in love with the power in Tanya's voice and the charm in Kumoko's. There was a period of time where nothing really interested me so i rewatched Youjo Senki a lot. When i picked Apothecary Diaries up and heard Maomao, i grinned cause I heard Aoi Yuuki www
