I like the G7 and got the Lumix/Leica 12-35 f2.8 which is excellent but the price of the body. But it has stabilization and I found mine used. I’d highly recommend it.
There's a dial on the top left of the camera that you can turn to a setting that looks like rectangles stacked on top of each other. That turns on burst mode.

Your lighting looks fantastic, but the audio leaves a lot to be desired. Do yourself and your viewers a favor and invest in an audio upgrade. The cheapest among the effective solutions would be to SPEAK UP. The following solution will not be effective, if you keep speaking with low overall volume and high fluctuations in volume Also, it might be worth considering investing in an audio upgrade. These options come to mind: - a lav mic - something like a Rhode Video mic (probably the best option due to low price and high versatility)
Help. I'm loaning my camera to my mom and need to put it in the most auto-mode possible. Cannot figure that out (I've only used G7 for video). Need to know what to set both left and right main buttons to. All my guesses have been wrong. Thanks, and good video.
100 Year Challenge okay I see I would say keep the left mode dial on single shot mode, which is if you turn it anti clockwise all the way, and the right mode dial keep that on “iA” (intelligent Auto) which is the most auto and simplest way to shoot photos on the G7. And thanks a lot much appreciate that.
I have had to hardest time trying to get this camera into raw shooting mode to the point where I’m thinking of returning it and getting a different camera …. Help!
That's an easy one. left mode dial is the drive mode dial. Turn it all the way to the right. Last two settings are clocks for 3, and 10, second self timers.
I actually want to figure out how to do that too actually! I'm not sure but I think this setup is not the best for that I'm not sure but I'll experiment with it some more and see what's possible. I don't even know that many people who shoot cars regularly and I think those that do are using some really big expensive canon and nikon nodies with some kind of insane wide angle lenses😁.
Hey Thanks a lot! I'm glad you like it! It's pretty simple really I just used two soft boxes pointed at myself on either sholder, and slightly pointed at the wall behind me, and my camera is placed just beyond the beams from both light, so if I stretched out my hands to the camera, they'd get dark before I touched it. I like the look because it's a bit different from most people just useing a ring light, so I'm glad you like it.

Truthfully I keep things very simply with the focus mode selector on "AFS/AFF" or "AFC" for photos and video. Doesn't matter to me as long as it's not on "MF". The AF mode I keep on "49-area", and metering I keep at "center weighted". These settings helped me get all my content. I haven't gotten into focus tracking, or anything super interesting yet! But! I hope to in the future.
Someone please help me!!! I set my wifi connection through my Lumix G7 and when I try to connect it on my phone it says "G7-6C650B has no internet access" why is it saying this? It does have access! How do I fix this?

Didn't know what it was just looked it up. Your right man. That's crazy. Well, I kind of knew it sounded a bit creepy but I'm accustomed to it because I used to listen to a lot of d2therj beats.
In my opinion, with the 25 1.7, these are the best settings. Shooting in raw, autofocus on, in either capture, or manual mode. You can experiment from there. Camera takes care of the rest. Shooting in bright sunlight, best to get a good quality nd filter, and you'll be good.

quintin cooper oh ok I see. Well, in my experience the kit lens doesn’t really produce the craziest images just because with only f3.5-5.6 it won’t give you that much bokeh -background blur, and the sharpness is also pretty bad in my opinion, but it is ok for video. It’s less zoomed than the 25mm but I still use my 25 for video just for the bokeh. Almost every other lens besides the kit lens will be really good photos.
Oyster Ninja Pc oh yeah man that’s normal that’s the focus light I believe. And I think it only comes on it certain modes not sure but it’s not usually anything to worry about lol at least I sure don’t.
Oyster Ninja Pc also about the presets, they’re in Adobe Lightroom if you use that program to edit with at all. On the desktop version you can either make, or download and install presets to edit your photos with like filters on editing apps for your phone. I have some on my webpage if you’re interested.
I use aperture priority (A mode) and it works great because it keeps the f.stop constant, but automatically adjusts the shutter speed. I recommend it!
