    Thank you! Very informative. I started watching this video because I’m experiencing persisting pain in my left arm (mostly from the elbow to the wrist) sometimes accompanied by tightness in the chest. Today this started when I went out and it was quite hot (30° C). Most of the time it’s just my arm that hurts on its own. I’ve seen a general practitioner many times and they always send me home with painkillers which do not help. Do you know what could possibly be the cause? Thank you!

    Hi, Dr Bolad. I've been diagnosed with angina recently so I looked for some info. My chest feels very heavy after just a short 20-50m walk and I have to take a Nitro spray under the tongue. I used to be very active but ate badly. Does this mean the blockages in my arteries are more severe so my movements are much more restricted?

    • @DoctorBoladCardiology
      @DoctorBoladCardiology  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      How has the angina been diagnosed. Have you had cardiac catheterization or a stress test? Symptoms generally occur when blockage in an artery reaches 70%. Twenty to 50 meters is a short distance and I recommend that you ask your doctor about the treatment options.

    Doctor, I’m 27 male in relatively good shape. Been having chest pain since my first panic attack (which I thought was a heart attack). Went to the ER and EKG, blood test and x-Ray all came out Normal. They deduced it as anxiety/panic disorder.
    Saw a cardiologist regardless and did the whole round of tests (EKG, stress test, 7 day holter, and echocardiogram). - everything came out perfectly normal!
    However, I’m still experiencing chest pain daily. It’s to the point where I’ve taken myself to ER around 10 times which every test coming back normal.
    My cardiologist doesn’t want to do anymore tests for my chest pain since all the other ones mentioned before came out perfectly normal. I’ve told him the pain even goes to my left arm, but he’s become dismissive of my symptoms since the echo, holter, stress test and all the tests I’ve taken at the emergency room come back normal.
    What can it be? My chest pain is daily.

      @DoctorBoladCardiology  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      From the information you provided, the fact that the stress test, Holter and echocardiogram are all normal is reassuring. There are other causes of chest pain that can be explored and your doctor might be able to help you with this. Hello Doctor
    Whenever I eat a greasy meal or fastfood, I feel heaviness in my chest. My last ecg and echo report was normal but as I was stressed before the test, it showed tachycardia hr of 116bpm. My blood cholesterol is normal. Usually when I wake up in mornings, my shoulders are stiff. I have a partially slouched posture. Do you think my morning pain is angina? When I walk for 30 minutes after wakeup, I have no symptoms at all. My walking speed is 4km/hr.
    Please advise for any tests.

    I been having really bad anxiety since Feb . Went to the cardiologist end of March and had an echocardiogram, blood work, ekg, and also wore a heart monitor for two weeks got my results that everything was fine beginning of April. Well for about 3 weeks my chest hurts here and there everyday and since last week my lower jaw has been hurting here and there so I’m scared something is wrong but don’t want to go back to the doctor for them to tell me it’s anxiety :/ and not to mention when I eat my chest feels full but that is probably from me having a stomach ulcer. Before everything I weighed 234 I’ve changed my diet and weigh 178 pounds now so I’m just scared and wondering if I should go back to the cardiologist.

    Hello Doc. I started becoming breathless when I walk fast and then my jaw started to get really stiff. Sometimes i am feeling burning in the throat as well. The symptoms are prominent when the weather is cold and I am not having issues when it is slightly warmer. Also if I walk for 15 minutes then I do not get another attack and I am able to walk quickly without issues. I have recently done implants in lower jaw so I thought it is due to implant. I am 58, Asian, have normal BP and walk around 2.5 miles a day. I have changed my diet, walking 4 miles a day and doing breathing exercises for now. Thanks and let me know your thoughts.

    Hi! I’ve been having chest pain since I was in high school (I’m presently in the university), it occurs most times when I’m in bed or when I’m walking, sometimes I also feel it when I lay on my left side. I mostly feel it on my left side even though there are times I feel it on my right (which is rare). It usually comes as a very sharp stabbing pain, that prevents me from moving or turning (change position), cause the moment I do, the pain increases. Went for an X-ray scan two years ago, but I was told I was okay. I really don’t know what to think is wrong…(I’m 18 years old btw)

Other times he can be just standing there or sitting. It’s sudden, painful, stabbing and lasts a good 5 mins or so then goes…leaving him exhausted. At times he will get 2 in a row. He isn’t sweaty but maybe a tad clammy. No pain etc arms, jaw etc etc. no nausea. He is overweight yes. Pre diabetic yes. 60 yrs old. A smoker. Bp generally good. Sugar levels 4.5 . I feel I'm the same. I go to the gym and I'm fine. I do the bikes for 20 mins, I do all the machines and walk for another 20 to 30 mins. I swim also sometimes. HOWEVER, when I'm outside walking with the kids I get pain in my chest area in less than 5 mins. This began about 2 months ago. I had mid June. I wonder if it's just Acid reflux, GERD, or Angina.

    Go and see a Doctor that cares and get an Angiogram to check it all out if you can’t solve it with every other possibility.
    It carries a risk but that will answer it.
