Everyone underrated him which makes him one of the most powerful decepticons of all time. Starscream, however, was just annoying and ugly.
They essentially went back to their old bodies shown in the Cybertron games
I felt Starscream was half Prime have G1
2:53 SoundWave’s Transformation🔊🎵🎶🎶
Something I don't see a lot of people say, I like how this shows that you've never really bested Soundwave from this universe. Like they always got a few hits in, sent him to the shadow realm, but they never truly defeated him up to this point, only sort of slowed him down. With others like Starscream of even Megatron you could argue they've been thwarted time and time again. Not this Soundwave tho.
Also, any time Soundwave was bested was basically done for plot reasons lol.
(Aside from him being defeated by Megatron during gladiator period of their live)
Soundwave is so badass that they needed plot to get few hits on him.
@@PrimordialNyxLike Prime shooting him down only for him to land in live power lines.
@@Prince.Eva.Huepow which may actualy was part of his plans to get Rachet
Soundwave is just so unbelievably strong, despite his role in the deception faction.
I like soundwave doesn't fall for the word's of steeljaw when he said brother
He finally can talk after getting a new body
I like that Soundwave’s design is a blend of Gen 1 and Transformers Prime.
Soundwave:kills a whole city to contect Megatron*
Megatron:Who is calling me?
Soundwave:I am ready to help you conquer Earth,my lord!
Megatron:I don't want to do bad stuff anymore.
Soundwave thinking:...what should i do with my life now?!
It's really tragic actually. Initially Soundwave was a member of Cybertron council. They had a very unfair caste system, everyone is bounded by their design upon creation (ie if you're a worker bot, your entire life will be in the mines and you're a lower class with no chance to rise). Megatron was a miner bot too, and they held fighting area for entertainment.
Soundwave saw this unfair caste system and proposed change, but of course the higher ups don't want to give up their privileges, so they casted him out. Soundwave met Meg in the fighting pits, got 2nd place, saw Meg's idea of change for equality and followed him. That's also when he took the Vow of Silence. He realised talking does nothing when nobody is willing to listen.
The unfair caste system is what the Autobots are trying to rebuild by the way. So realistically, who's the actual villain: The oppressed lower class or the greedy higher-ups who's trying to protect their privileges?
@@theotv5522 The first part is correct, but not the last part.
Something that many need to understand is that being opperessed does NOT make someone morally better!
Megatron was against being oppressed, but had no problem doing it on others! He just brought up said problems to get the population on his side against the council, but the system he wanted became a WORSE dictatorship than their previous system!
@@maestrulgamer9695 See Earthspark as to what may happen when Megatron renounces his old ways, we see his former loyal followers like starscream, shockwave and soundwave turn on him
@@hunterhq295
I expected it from Starscream, and maybe would understand from Shockwave, but Soundwave?!
@@maestrulgamer9695 Must have really impacted him deeply to be betrayed. In season 2 Starscream takes over from Megatron if I am not wrong.

The new Soundwave made his first appearance.
Likes in cybertron games highmoon
It’s weird how the autobots were so strange about him contacting Megatron in his first appearance back, I mean I understand that in this situation it would be harmful to humans but the first time around he was just tryna contact him, Megatron already said he was done fighting so in any case Megatron would either ignore the call or answer come to earth and tell Soundwave EXACTLY what he told starscream.
It's a extremely harmful radiation signal. Soundwave's efforts would be completely useless and dangerous, his loyalty got in the way of his thinking and he was placed in isolation for so long he most likely never got to hear Megatron's final order to Starscream
If they wanted to make him stronger should of given him more tentacles and made it that he used small groundbridges to send his tentacles through and attack from any and multiple directions and lastly give him a sound disruptor cannon.
Soundwave's voice is so fucking cool.
Soundwave's voice. ☠️☠️☠️☠️
1:40 "devastate the city then spread to eradicate all life on earth, incidental collateral damage"
0:29 Oh Soundwave. What a beautiful voice you have
Frank Welker
I heted RID
But this soundwave design version is PERFECT
2:56 Transforming to V mode
Steeljaw: "Welcome to my new home world brother 😈"
Soundwave: "You don't seem to understand. Earth isn't yours to conquer"
wit a minute....Soundwave is a car now????
That’s a cybertruck in his g1 design he transformed into a cybertruck but he could have scanned a truck and made some modifications (yes they can do that) and hints y he is stuck on earth he can’t fly no more idk y he won’t scan a jet and if u wanna call me stupid or anything u can do it I get called that a lot bc of my pfp and the way I act
Yeah he was a car in wfc and foc
@@Eternal_Tardis 2 amazing games, I might add
They managed to make a deadly cool prime soundwave, then upped the beefiness and coolness to a 20/10. Awesome
Why does soundwave talk? That is illogical.
Hey Shockwave , where are you ?
He could always talk lol he just didn't remember "Soundwave superior, Autobots inferior"?
meme mc is right
He stopped giving one that’s why
He took a vow of silence, but broken it when he was captured by the autobots
There is always opportunities presented to anyone.
(This comment was made prior to username change)
If you put a face plate in his mouth it looks like g1 soundwave
Fun fact he is voiced by frank welker the original voiced for megatron and soundwave in g1

To be fair Decepticons lost their way he tried to wipe out Humanity many times
That isn’t what he was in this universe, he was a gladiator
@@williamnguyen8663 this sound wave a gladiator, why ?
Ngl this desing shows more of worrior soundwave is and makes him more intimidating in my opinion.
Soundwave but bulky sounds like a nightmare
soundwave prime
sounds good :D
2:07 bro tought he could take on a highguard of iacon😭
Think Soundwave was a gladiator in this continuity.
O Design do Soundwave estilo Prime e G1 está muito TOP.
Ele com essas luzes de energon parece aquele Soundwave de Energon do Angry Birds Transformers. Eu acho TOP
Viram esse do Soundwave de energon aqui em cima?
All of the people who are complaining about soundwave talking, definitely arent actual TFP Fans lmao
Honestly soundwave looks better in his original colours but i still like the energon charged soundwave
For someone who is in the communications sector, he packs a punch
Never mess with Soundwave
1:07
The new Laserbeak made his first appearance.
Even steeljaw cannot mess with soundwave
Soundwave almost beat Megatron back on cybertron. He and Megatron were gladiators of kaon. Steeljaw wouldn't stand a chance against him in combat.
Bro was done dirty but I appreciate his story being ended instead of him just being stuck in the shadow zone forever.
if this were prime soundwave would have made sure to finish off sideswipe before moving out with the generator.
Sound wave's been working 0:03 He never talked much in Transformers Prime
savor this, cause this might just be the last time Frank voiced Soundwave,
I love this version of Soundwave even transformers animated and prime
1:52 from one of the living creatures that live on earth I have to agree
i have a feeling *that* Soundwave almost looked like *this* Soundwave [my PFP] but with different colors and different styles
I tbh I enjoyed this show in 2015 and thought if it had more of a serious tone it could be so much better.
Yeah, like actually have Steeljaw build up his little gathering, and Starscream continues searching for the Mini-cons, and while doing so, intercepts Soundwave’s re-emerging signal from the Shadow Zone. The two meet up, and duke it out.
Mini-cons find Steeljaws group and take refuge under false claims said by Steeljaw, himself, causing persuasion.
Team Bee finds Starscream attempts to take him down, only to fight both him _AND_ Soundwave via temporary alliance (Autobot destruction to them would be more beneficial rather than fighting amongst each other, at the time).
That’s part of what I could come up with for an alteration to the story, and I feel like it _might_ work, but I dunno. Feel free to give me some feedback.
Soundwave was always the strong and silent type. Now he's back in his classic voice speaking
This voice brings some many memories to g1
I feel like I would've liked his design more if he wasn't so bulky. I preferred the sharp, slender design we got in TFP than the more jacked one we got in this show.
I can still hear the bay films sound wave
@DC Boy its like they dont look into the VAs.....hell, frank welker pretty much did a good bit of VA work in the show G1, as well as other shows too.
Everyone can agree that soundwave is the only decepticon that actually has the upper hand against the other decepticons in this show
Bro hit the gym 🙏
Bro saw his G1 counterpart and said "bet"
Someone should have told Soundwawe that while he was gone, Megatron abolished the Decepticons. Soundwawe might not believe it first but propably would have eventually believe it.
Since when did Soundwave transition from being a drone to a truck? Lmao
Since he scanned a new form!
I agree, why would Soundwave choose a truck, unless he was able to transform into several other alt modes. A plane is much more suitable
I Guess he's the boss of the Decepticons...
?
Yeah! Aligned Continuity Soundwave talks now! Cause SCREW the Vow of Silence he took!
Finally, somebody said it.
And screw his scrawny weak drone body too lol.
He was way more badass when he didn't speak
Oh man the direction of this scene is all over the place. :D
Not too much of a fan of G1-fying Soundwave here, especially when he still has his Prime head, though I personally like his voice. The Dr. Claw part of his voice from Prime is toned down, or at least the filter is strengthened. Honestly, if Soundwave really has to talk, this was the perfect voice. This is personally the voice I now hear when I mess with my definitely-G1 Soundwave, such as the Netflix toy, just as I used Prime Megatron as G1 Megatron (never was a fan of his super raspy voice. Felt like Frank was always straining himself)
Kinda wished Starscream and Soundwave interacted in the series.
