This is NOT the intended guide I was looking to have out for you guys next but oh boy... have I had issues the past couple days 0_o
Three ideas I had didn't work, at all, so those were put on the back-burner and even still there is something off with this one. Forgive the first 8ish seconds here as it is wonky for some reason. On my end in the editing software it is totally fine, but after uploading it to TH-cam twice and testing it on site it remains done broke.
In other words, TH-cam is dumb and I hope to have more traditional and worthwhile guides soon! I just wanted to get SOMETHING out for you guys so here you go!

I want to see more special craft options in the Celestial tab, including something using the Iridescent Gem you get from deconstructing the Moon Staff...I hope Klei have more plans for it
Moon armor and helmet would be cool. You'd take no damage from basic enemies on the Lunar Island and -80% of damage from lunar bosses, but is only as effective as wood armor and a football helmet on the main island. Moon sword would deal more damage to lunar creatures but would only be as effective as 2/3 of the damage of a spear on the main island.
Most recipes would be a little nicer

You can obtain moon rocks near Moon Rock Platform after creating Moon Caller's Staff since all hounds and werepigs transform into moon statues after finishing

I remember that when I made a world with Walter just to test him, I ended up surviving for quite a while and ended up going for upgrading my portal because of how I hated his sanity loss when he is harmed downside

It’s just a much more expensive way of getting what you can get on wilderness mode for free. All you need is a single cratered moonrock to counteract the issue of finding each other.
this is kind of op cuz cant you just use maxwell get all comfy in your world, then switch to wickerbottom craft the books, switch back and suddenly maxwell has the books.
It's not that op and is mostly underutilized in most worlds interestingly enough
You need purple jem and moon rocks for the idol for every character change... if anything I don't find it that great as to me I hardly ever find purple gems

I’m so smart I built my base in a meteor field well i didn’t know back then. So when I built all my croc pots, ice box and tents etc a meteor shower came and broke everything ;((
(I still didn’t move my location cus I’m an idiot and very lazy)

I got the celestial orb on my first meteor before I watched this video. I didn’t know what I was doing but at least I got it. I died to frog rain

I usually build the portal, swap from Wolfgang to wicker bottom, and make a crap ton of applied horticulture books, and swap back
When did you start the game? I remember the land being perfect circles connected by bridges, and you had to feed items into Science Machine for points. It would make a fun video to look at how the game looked back then and how it changed.

Oh my god. I thought you had to beat Celestial Champion to be able to craft this, and didn't even get into any further research! This is huge, lol.
Nah! Much easier than that... if the game drops the proper meteor that is...
Note: when playing on console(PS4 don't know about other's) if you put the celestial stone in the portal, the game will crash and a error will pop up on the screen so at the moment it's glitched.
Finally they added this option

So, that means the celestial portal is the only way out of the constant but in return you must sacrifice another person to be in the constant... hm pretty interesting.

Lets WX-78 has upgrades on him and he goes through the portal, comes out as a different character, then later you want to be WX again, will he have his upgrades?
He will lose the upgrade but some gears will be refunded based on how much gears have been eaten

Am I the only one to have my game crash every time I try and upgrade the portal? I get some weird text and the game stops running. I'm playing on PS4 btw.

As long as you have enough idols to switch you can switch as often as you want!

Cratered Moonrocks can also be socketed while in one's inventory.
What?! If that is true then it must be a new feature cause I swear I thought that was impossible!
I've done it several times, actually.
Select a gem, hover over a Cratered Moonrock with the selected gem, and left-click. It should socket the gem.
Hey thanks for the useful video but i change my character from Musha (character mod) who has an unique feature of being able to level up to another charterer do i lose my Musha progress (xp)?
My friends and I are trying to place the celestial altar pieces, but it doesn't give us the option to socket the base? Wth
will this portal return the gears consumed by wx or they will remain within him so if i choose back to him , i get him how he was ( fully upgraded ) pls help
if you switch with full beard wilson and swap back to him will he still have his beard

Hey, quick quesh. If you play as a fully upgraded WX-78, change characters, and then change back to WX-78, does he still keep his upgrade? Also, how is inventory affected by this?
Nope, he will drop a random number of gears once he changes via the portal. As for inventory, you better drop everything as it will all be gone once you switch.

Nope, he drops gears just like when he dies for real.
