Thank you for this, i haven't seen anyone complete it with Insect Glaive until now. I was worried my weapon just wasn't equipped for the fight without a counter like LS and SA. Turns out i'm just not using the bug enough
@@Negius Me too but it's going to be ironic when the Insect is the main weapon and the melee bit is just for show. I think half the damage this run was pure insect.
it multiplies the healing dust to a max potion heals everyone when it pops, which can be a partyheal if positioned right, vortex seems to be a slight bit overtuned, but IG deserves some love too
Probably because its kinda slow, sacrifices extracts (hinders weapon damage) and leaves you airborne with likely no red buff, also pierce attacks are inconsistent. If you attack straight down after, you pop the powder clouds, so you have fall or dodge fall as slow as possible. which is more time you aren't getting extracts and Malz has time move/roar.
great vid, man! i can't deny, i learned 2 things from this! though, i gotta ask. there were so many openings for a Wyvern Dive, but you didn't take most of them. were you focusing on showcasing the dust? why didn't you use Wyvern Dive as much?
I really don't like this playstyle. Sure, it's effective but it's pretty boring honestly to just spam the powders and wait. But on the other hand, it makes tetraseal slash work in some situations (too slow against malzeno though)
while kinsect mark is active, you can burst powder by kinsect aim+left+right click command(with keyboard/mouse). i dont remeber what is aim button in pad sorry:(
LR+X+A after you mark the monster and it drops some powder, the damage scales with powder. I've seen it hit as high as 964 with the main hit and extra 200
You mark the monster either with the pheremone shot or the blunt end of your glaive. As your Kinsect builds powder the damage scales higher. To detonate them hit ZR +X+ A together, I've hit around 960 with it while it also basically full heals me. Insect glaive is cracked now. Good tradeoff for the assist bug making gathering extracts MUCH smoother.

Exploding Kinsect is basically a big raw dps output buff, love this new change.

@@JohnAkimotoBot ダウン時に関しては定点攻撃が出来る４連印斬に軍配が上がりますよ。4連印斬単発の火力で見るなら何気に飛円切りより高いし。
通常時は飛円切り、ダウン時は4連印斬って使い分けるのが強いと思います

Too much end lag, I guess. Malzeno is pretty fast so you don't want to make yourself in a bad spot when you use it
And the dust vortex is doing much more damage with little to no investment anyway (500 damage in 1 explosion)
Nah, Diving Wyvern is still good, its just that Malzeno hits insanely hard so using it is pretty risky

印弾つけて粉塵が舞っていて、尚且つ猟虫が飛んでいることが条件かな？猟虫のスタミナ切れたり猟虫キャンセルして腕に止まっている時にZR+X+Aを押しても爆発はしなかった気がする。間違ってたらすみません。
