Being from AZ you probably know about swamp coolers. Become a walking swamp cooler at water sources :) Keep going and keeping it real J&A.
You two are doing amazing! Thanks for sharing all parts of it 💚
Thank you!
Im.loving your journey. Thanks for being honest and sharing the struggles.
Thank you for following along!
Keep it up, each hard day now will make future days easier. Pretty soon 20 miles will be your easy days!
Yes it will… after the Sierra! Taking our time and soaking in the beauty! Cheers!
Cheryl talks about this section exactly like this, hot, very hot. I can almost see her walking with you guys. I’m so impressed by you and Anna, you are like such great experienced hikers, I wish to get there someday, maybe. I love your videos, keep going strong!
P.S.: I love that Anna is on the name of the channel finally!!!!
Look on the bright side, all those 20+ mile days get you to Kennedy Meadow's sooner... Keep on hiking.. Thanks for sharing...
Thanks for following along! Currently in the Sierra and loving it!
You’re building grit. And hiking in high heat is tough!
It was tough. Now we are rewarded with the amazing Sierra!
You two are terrific and so chill. I know that heat on trail. It can be very oppressive and y'all are killin it! Love your style with videos and showing the reality of it all good and bad. I know you're currently in the Sierra with a whole different set of challenges. Thank you for sharing your trek with us. Hike on!☮️
Thanks for following along! The Sierra is amazing so far. Such a reward after the desert!
Interesting topic as you approach 700 miles, on what gear worked out and what you would do differently for the first 700 miles. Thanks for the content 🤙🏽
We plan on doing an on trail gear review at some point. Just need to wait for a down day!
@@justinhitsthetrail5225 Totally understand, looking forward to it. Until then keep crushing those miles…🤙🏽
The heat must be so oppressive. 😢 The Sierra with cooler temps and abundant water is close!
Devilfish is a legend. Such a great guy! He bounces up and stocks caches in Oregon when the bubble is closer to our state. He’s helped me out several times. Keep on trudging!
We hope to run into him at some point! Very grateful for everything he does for the hikers! The heat was brutal but now we’re soaking in the beauty and cooler temps in the Sierra!
Stay focused .... you are doing great pushing through the tough days! I am curious how the Mirage Hoody is doing in the heat? I feel mine is too warm once temps exceed 70F
Still loving it! It is warm in the heat, but when temps are 100 degrees I don’t think anything will keep you truly cool.
You guys are studs. It'll get better.
Thank you! It’s much better already!
Kakwa to the rescue!!
Love this pack!
@@justinhitsthetrail5225 I am playing around with the Wapta right now. My first hike with it was this weekend. It seemed to belt hold me better. Not sure I about no load lifters yet.
