Enjoy Jonker Street & Pahlawan night markets in Melaka with us ❤
Dodol basically made from coconut palm sugar, coconut milk & rice flour...Dodol is cook by constantly stirred all ingredients in a big wok for 2-9 hours, durian is just an optional ingredient..
Aside from durian, both of you should try 'Cempedak' fruit, same genus with jackfruit & breadfruit, but more sweeter than jackfruit..Cempedak can easily be found around South East Asian countries only like durians..Cempedak also can be deep fried with batter & it taste like cotton candy(say some of the tourists)... 😊
Thank u for this wonderful video n for also showing your explorations in Melaka. D night open markets in Malaysia r pretty awesome.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Guys your vlogs always awesome 😊 both of you so friendly to everybody 😮 is good you taste many food 🍲 around 😋 have nice day🌷let's review more vlog 🌿☘️
Thank you so much 😀
😁
Malaysia has such amazing food 😮
second best food in the world !!
Original dodol is just made from coconut milk and palm sugar. But sometimes they add flavour like pandan or durian. Even though the ingredients are simple but it's a labour intensive snack to cook. Generally it takes around 8 hours to cook.
Thanks for the info!
U either hate or love durian....I tried and I really love it...can't wait to go back to taste them in malaysia
🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
You dont have to like every Malaysian food or fruit.
Durian is something you EITHER Love or Hate. Nothing in- beween
True!
Dodol is made of Glutinous Rice (Sticky Rice) flour... sometimea they add durian as flavouring...
U make me laugh when u ate durian puff coz my brother didn't like it also
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hi guys.
Thanks for sharing your experiences of Malacca...really enjoyed 😉
I'm guessing ye could be heading 👉 Borneo at some point.
Safe travels
GD🇮🇪
Thank you so much for watching! Yes, Borneo is on our bucket list 🙏
The one on a stick with durian and brown sugar is actually called 'dodol' with durian taste. Dodol is a popular Malacca delicacy. You ought to try the dried cuttle fish in Jonker Walk. It is very good.
It was delicious 🤤
Those are a new pair of knock off Converse, but looking at them, they're pretty decent in quality though. 😅
🙏❤️ thanks for the tips! Hope they can hold up!
You should pronounce " Jonker" the Dutch way
Melaka popular with asam pedas .have u already try that one. It is a bit spycy..but very good
Jonker is indeed a Dutch word. It's pronounced as Yonker. But most of Malaysian pronounce it Jonker. (J as in Jam)
🙏❤️
❤️🇲🇾
I think it's not a second hand shoe. It's an imitation shoes.
🤔 hopefully it will last haha
wow high knowledge about shoes.just can detect when see in video
Hi guys!
Dodol is a traditional Malay sweets or a chewing gum, I might say.
Please = tolong [in Malay language] ✌
Terima Kasih ❤️
@@TwoMadExplorers Sama sama 😊

Hmm.. jonker st is for the Chinese people visiting Melaka ? Well as a malaccan to me it has food for local Chinese Malaysians .. I wonder whether u tried the Siham?

But there is life on the market🤓🤙
🙏🙏🙏🙏
Get something to remember to bring back to your country maybe..!😉
I am really sad that you did not visit Penang while you were both in Malaysia.
Penang is a paradise in Malaysia. ❤
Hi you are enjoying malaysia authentic kueh2. The one that you eat, its call Dodol. Its made of 100% gula melacca or palm sugar.
To make Dodol its take along hours. You should buy 1pkt.
love the durian !!!!
❤️😂
I hail from Melaka but now I am based in Penang. Glad you liked my hometown. A longer duration of stay is a must as Melaka has got so much more to offer. The Peranakan culture and food is something you guys need to dive into. Perhaps if you are again in Melaka, do pay a visit to the Peranakan Museum for a better understanding of the culture. Anyways keep the vlogs coming. Truly enjoyed them. Stay safe and happy wanderings! Cheers!
i guess you are going to the east coast islands...pulau perhentian or pulau redang?
Irish should never say best beer to a German,,best beers brah :)
Please=tolong in Malay
In Malaysia J is Jay not Yot...😅
org jerman mmg kalau cakap huruf J bunyi Y... tak tahu lagi ka
@@kamarulhisham3203 sebab tu di Germany J disebut Yot... bukan Jay... tak tau lagi ka?
You guys should try cincalok, otak-otak, ikan bakar with sambal belacan Melaka, asam pedas with many varieties, putu piring, kueh bakar and many more..
Btw, dodol is a traditional Malay sweet creamy candy made of normal rice + glutinous rice, coconut milk, gula Melaka (coconut sugar) 😋
Thank you so much for the tips 🙏🙏
@@TwoMadExplorers always my pleasure 🙏
you guys are going to bonio
Durian has a strong pungent+ bitter/sweet creamy taste depending on the quality n price! For all I known n have tasted; my closest definitive relation ; the " ripen smashed- pumpkins" are kins to our tropical "kingy-durians". Well, tats according to my closest palett-analysis ! Cheers n enjoy once in a life-time! Lovely, yet curious insanity: " dun judge the fruits by its thorny-shape!
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Yes, durian is indeed an acquired taste and you either love it to bits or hate it. I can relate to your experience because it's similar to when I tried surstromming when I was in Europe back in 2014. Initially I threw up, but after a few tries, I grew to stomach it. Definitely not a favourite but I can handle it. Maybe you'll grow to like durians too.
🙏🙏❤️❤️
€16 for a pair of Converse is highly unlikely that it's genuine. Unlike street food where you pay asking price, street merchandise should always be haggled cuz asking price is typically 30-50% more.
Very true 🤔 much more to learn
Wow Luke is only 29 still very young you both are young and plenty to do still! Do you think you will be going to Penang? Can't wait to see your next video! I am Malaysian and I hate durian 😂
😂😂❤️
Next we are headed east! But possibly soon!
Nowardays foreign foods like arab korean n japanese foods can be found in cities in mlysia..not so 20 yrs ago..
True ❤️
Get your appitite on...!😋
Hi Luke & Naomi, there's a Portuguese Settlement nearby both of you should visit. Please try to eat "satay" one of most popular malay authentic grill food.
Thank you for your support and tips ❤️
Another awesome video from you guys...
Thank you so much for your support ❤️🙌😊🤘🏼
It's Chinese peranakan @ Nyonya; an ethnical -populace ,also part of the living heritage of Melaka & Penang; typically a minority grp with important amazing history in cuisine, linguistic, architecture, fashion, lifestyle,...etc (Chn+Malay) eg Jonker, (Junk@ship)Hilir,Straits, Pahlawan, Malacca/Melaka...n more ,...yes, the "Hang Li Po Well" & our famous historical Warriors Hang Tuah & Hang Jebat...also historical yellow + black powerful Sultanate family.....
Malaysia also has many zoos. Melaka Zoo, Taiping Zoo, there is also a zoo in the center of Kuala Lumpur
It's OK not to like durian😁
🙏❤️
safe journey guys👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you! Going east in Malaysia 🇲🇾
Ajeesh Kerala 👍🌍❤️🖐️🌍🌍❤️❤️🌍🌎✋❤️
Naomi look so appiticing...😂
u guys didnt try bargaining?
It's jonker don't change its name please
We don’t have the power to randomly change names of markets. Don’t worry Frank Sinatra ❤️
Yeah, they pronounced it correctly. YONG-KER.
The parallel street to Jonker is Heeren Street, derived from the Dutch word Heren which means gentlemen.
@@ohshankly 🙏❤️
kau yg tak paham org jerman mmg baca huruf J bunyi Y
