Gaborone - Botswana Part 2

In this video I take you through Gaborone once again. Starting with the Fields Malls, it’s one of my favourite malls in Gaborone (Also known as Gabz). The design is industrial, it looks amazing. The best part is that it’s located right in the Central business district. It has amazing restaurants like Vida e café, Doppio Zero, Pedros’, Debonairs Pizza and Chicken licken. It is also the only place as of yet in Botswana where you find the iStore. Just behind the mall is the Gaborone Central District starting with Legal Aid Botswana and CTO headquarters. Along that street is the Ministry of Youth Sports and Culture alongside with Burs (Botswana unified revenue service) and further down the same street is the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Botswana high court. We then have the Three Chiefs Dikgosi Monument where you’ll find the most important figures in the history of Botswana, such as Khama III, Sebele L and Bathoen I. Next to the monument is Square Mart shopping center. The iTowers is the tallest building in Botswana as yet at 105m high and 30 floors up. Opposite the iTowers is Primi, a restaurant that got closed down, it had a warm and inviting reception. Next to it is Hilton Hotel and Morojwa Mews. Down the same street is Absa Headquarters which is part of Prime Plaza and just behind Absa headquarters is Morula Mews which offers office spaces. The Botswana Investment and trade center is close by, with Protea hotel just on the opposite street. Botswana is on the fast developing track in both economic and infrastructure.

Correction, the street is Khama cresent instead of Independence avenue. Otherwise its a promising production overall.

Gaborone urgently needs to plan the construction of a public park in the central part of the city.. all the big cities have one, in Arare and other cities in Kenya they also have it, like in Nairobi.. a hug and thanks for sharing

Botswana looks clean, do you have townships like we have in South Africa or you only have rural and urban/city areas
