Thanks to all the geograpeeps/ friends we met and helped us along the way.
All drone shots are compliant with researched zones that were deemed "drone acceptable" (some with limited protocol) that we had help with locals and authorities whom assisted us in specific areas that we could shoot. Every city/ country/ region was different. We did our best to record the beauty of every area in its best light to portray the journey to San Polo Matese.

Our final video of 2017. One thing I really want to emphasize is how amazing the Geography Now community is, in almost every location we were able to meet up with a local that watched the show whom helped us out when we barely knew what we were doing in places we had never been to. It amazes me how compassionate, smart and proud you all were of your nations. We did exactly what we set out to do, and it would've never been possible without you. Merry Christmas. Thank you.

I am so sorry about your dad, Barbs. Let me say that it was great that you fulfilled your father's dream by visiting his and your mom's places of ancestry. Emily Rose Burnett cause it's positive and informative channel that many watch to get some nationalistic pride? Well this video wasn't informative, was based on a negative thing and would have only given the Italians and liechestiens some pride. He wasted a bunch of money so his mum and he could go to some stable touristy countries. Before he was too popular, he'd rather be more of a backpacker, this is no longer the case it seems.

Yeah it's interesting when that happens. A lot of times it's due to Americans being stationed overseas and marrying. Like I have a freind who's dad is half Filipino and black and his mom is half Filipino and white. Both his grandfather's served overseas in the Philippines where they met there wives.

Bro, I never understood how it would feel to have lost a father, all I could do was imagine... until my father passed away last September. I was lost for words. I still am. I was never very close to him but there were short moments where we bonded together, inseparable during my early twenties (now I am 30 years old) when I was going through a tough time emotionally and spiritually.. and at that time, he was everything to me and he was at his best with helping me with whatever he could. I miss that moment so much. I miss him. I never understood how men could cry over their fathers, now I do. Anyway, great video bro.

I hope Paul's dad got to that point, I'm very lucky that my dad passed away just a few days after he decided to go on hospice and got to say his goodbyes. I don't neccasarily want everyone to live forever but it'd be nice if everyone could live until they were ready to move on and then pass peacefully in their sleep.
