have you guys changed the controller settings for the deadeye vr? it really makes a difference, in settings in Golf+ on the menu in on the right, theres a controller submenu and u can change it to a pre configured deadeye vr calibration
also make sure u set the guardian play space height for each person that use's the same headset, it gets glitchy when people of varying height use the headset without re calibrating it
Also again, golf 5 eclub is another game on quest 2, the golf physics and realism is better with more club and ball statistics, but less courses and players online, if you have a club attachment like the deadeye vr you have to manually configure the club, its a pain to get it just right but when it is its phenomenal. Deff give it a go
You guys shuld try Golf 5 eclub, liking that a little better than golf+ would love to hear yours opinion.
I have it and absolutely love it.
Great game....worked myself up to a 2.75 handicap have 14 courses already....play a few times a week with son-in law and occasionally with Grand sone.....LOVE IT!!!!
I literally bought oculus for 2 of my cousins so we could golf together and it's been so fun to be able to catch up and talk while we play a quick 9

This game is fantastic and a must if you have oculus. The multiplayer is awesome and a lot of fun with friends we had an absolute blast with this!
I would like it if you had to walk from one hole to the next for the exercise and social interaction or you could get into a golf cart and drive to the next hole. Driving the cart could be fun!
Walking in VR can make you feel a bit sick so it is often avoided in games, but I get what you are saying.

Hi, thanks for the vid. If you have two headsets, do you have to buy the game twice? Add-on courses twice as well? Was thinking of getting two headsets. One for my wife and one for me.

Love the evolution of Golf in VR, I play most sports. if you like football try 2md its amazing, there are a few Basketball games and baseball games! Enjoy and let me know when you want to shoot 18 in VR I am down!
Got the DeadEye and make it feel more normal but you have to adjust clubs individually or length..

Putting is the most realistic for me, driving and irons seem to have too much help going straight. I slice like crazy in real life but can score birdies on golf +

That looks fun for a party. Like a Wii. Otherwise I could not see using it a second time. In 5 years we will look back and laugh at how bad this was.
Looks fun, what maybe you don’t realize being in the vr is how much you are chicken winging your shots. Even with the golf pride extender you aren’t swinging like a normal club
Yeah, VR is still definitely a long way from feeling like a "real" golf swing. The controller doesn't quite feel like a club, so it's more of an "entertainment" fix than anything else.
I'm definitely going to buy a quest 2 and the stick just to play this game

@Frankenwaller bad investment in my humble opinion. I only used it a couple times now I just play using the controller.
It should have been designed with the controller at the grip and a weighted end for the club head. You can find cheaper knock off version's very cheap on Amazon and if you use it once and decide you don't like it you can always return it

Recently bought a Quest 2, came here looking for a decent golf game. Is this 2022? gfx look like 1980. Tiger Woods PGA tour looked better than this 15 years ago.. I wish companies would stop half assing golf games, we have the technology now.

I dont recommend doing this to often when your play golf in real life because your body geta used yo the vr because of muscle memory and it can mess up your real life golf

Getting on and playing a foursome makes it feel even more like being on the course. Great game absolute blast to play. It’s also good to help my 7 yr old learn to hit

hey guys, your videos are super helpful. I bought the meta quest for a Christmas gift. Do I have to buy Golf+ from Meta as a downloadable product or does anyone sell the physical game? Probably a silly question... I'm not into gaming, but thanks for helping me out. Would it be best for him to purchase the game himself once he gets the oculus 2?

Does this work for left handers?
Yes and you can even get left handed adapters. RMdesigns sells them for much cheaper than the one they showed.

All I see is one handed swings and half hearted attempts... git gud! Both of you.
I feel I would play this too much & mess up my real swing. Anyone have that problem?
I dunno, both GOlf+ & Golf 5 eclub have options in the range modes that show a lot of swing stats (numerically and/or graphically); I see my face to path open, and the virtual shot replicates my actual slice pretty accurately. If anything, I'd say both apps have helped to improve my fairly poor swing significantly.
That said, I found using one hand only as in this video gave some pretty unrealistic results e.g 200mph ball speed and monster drives.
@@we824 I could see that being helpful. Does it have launch angle? Can you hit the ball low & high?
Yes, I played for about an hour this morning and then went to the range. It only took an hour on the quest to make me forget how heavy an actual club is.
Does anyone ever comment on the graphics looking like Nintendo Wii. What is with this terrible looking people in the game play?? I thought what people wanted realistic looking everything. Grass isn’t realistic or really anything.
