    Do yourself a favor and buy a speed bleeder nipple for the clutch slave. It's a bleeder nipple that has a one way check valve in it, so you can leave it cracked while you pump the hell out of the pedal. You really have to work it, because the clutch line has that section that is higher than the master, so air always gets trapped right there.
    I went through clutch bleeding hell a couple weeks ago with my '78 Midget, which made me buy a speed nipple. I ran a clear hose from the bleeder nipple up into the reservoir. With the bleeder cracked, I sat in the car for a few minutes pumping the pedal, circulating the fluid back into the reservoir, until air stopped coming through the clear hose. 15 minutes and the clutch was great.

    Lovely puke green motor. !970 Split bumper.
    I am about done with a complete restoration of a 71 Round arch. No puke green motor.
