hahaha just noticed its five years ago and I am back to make some more, but I wanted to refresh my brain on how to make these... Tfs and keeping your videos on youtube Linda.🙏🙏
Probably not going to get noticed but as a middle school viewer I find your instructions easy to understand and this feels like a craft for all ages which I appreciate. Definitely going to make these when I go get a new pad of scrapbook paper for the covers. I’m not allowed to use one of my old books but I’m very inspired so thank you for sharing the amazing craft. Love ya Linda
Hello, Maddie. I'm so glad you find my instructions easy to understand. :) Glad to have crafters from all ages watch my videos. :) If you live near a dollar tree, pick up a book for a dollar and use that for the covers. Way cheaper than scrapbook paper. :) You are most welcome. So glad to have you here. Thanks so much for watching, Maddie. :) HUGS!
Thank you very much, Joni. I love coloring my own items, like ivory or white lace, ribbon, and strings. :) Don't have to have all those colors of products I can just have white and whatever color of Tattered Angels I want. :) Thank you so much for watching.
Thank you so very much. I could see adding several to a larger journal and put numbers or keywords on the covers. :) These are super easy and fun to make. Hope you give it a try. :) Thanks so much for watching.
Thank you, Tina. :) You can do it. I've just had many years of practice. :) Being a problem solver helps. I see items that need a new home in an art project and I solve the problem. ;) There are days when I need more stamina, lol never enough hours in the day for me to complete the things I want. :) Thanks so much for your kind words and for watching. :)
First of all, before my memory decides to go blank , and I still have that thought at my old used up age, I just wanted to tell you that I just bought my first sewing machine the other day from Hobby Lobby or Lobby Hobby, Holly Hobbie or whatever that wonderful craft store is called :-) yep at my old age, I bought one . Oh its a Janome and its pefect for me. Has only 10 stitches and is Purple and turquoise color :-) I love the quirky colors cause I am a quirky sort of girl :-) Anyways, I got frustrated how to thread it , and I don't know a bobbin from the Robin the bird on a sewing machine anyways LOL so I went here to You Boob (I call it You Boob ) lol and I saw a video of a nice English lady show me how to do it. I could slap myself silly because it was so simple to do , yet I couldn't figure it out reading the instructions !! I am a visual person I guess, so I need to see a video in order to see how its done :-) Those drawings where they have a hand or a finger just pointing and not doing anything else is frustrating . So that lady helped :-) Now I gotta get sewing because I have a journal that I need to get done for a friend . Whew!! Now with that out of the way, I think those are darling little books :-) And Im just fascinated with your homemade stencils :-) Oh and I love the fact that you use another sheet of paper to wipe up the access spray and use it in your journals . I love that your love to recycle :-) You don't waste anything ! That's what I love about you!! Okay, enough rambling :-) I know my comments are the longest lol This time change has got me on a coffee IV drip let me tell ya LOL :-) Love ya Linda
lol, I have to do that sometimes too, I get a thought and it leaves because it is lonely. LOL That is awesome. It sounds super cute! I hope you enjoy using it for your projects. :) lol love your story. It is amazing that sometimes if we have just a little video how it helps. I'm having fun making my own stencils. I keep looking at stencils while out shopping, but I just don't like what is out there. Oh yes, I try to use everything I can. LOL, My husband says I'm a hoarder. I'm an artist with a plethora of supplies to make just about anything. lol, I understand the time change. how is it that one hour really messes us up? We need to do away with it, keep time the same. Thanks so much for your long comment, it gave me a laugh. I really appreciate you watching and your messages. :) Have an amazing day.
Wow -- That's great :-) I love your rambling comment too I might add lol Yes, Im a pack rat too :-) I do have a shredder when I need to shred personal papers, but that's just about it .
:) Glad you love my rambling comments too. lol :) I have a shredder that I use when I need tiny bits of paper for making handmade paper. LOL We all use tools differently. :)
Thankyou from Bonnie Scotland 🏴🏴🏴
